Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

His field play is ok but his goal shooting routine is completely broken. Rushed, hell he tried to take set shot without looking at goal. Don't know how he got broke but he cannot be picked till he fixes himself. With all due respect Aarts, Rioli, Cumberland, Stack etc. are hardly commanding the forward pocket position this season, so its wide open.

Both him and Aarts got a well deserved demotion
Hey UK - I'm gonna adopt your tag/byline/whatever i.e. the "have to be positive" and say
Both him an Aarts got an underserved promotion (the week before)

What that video does highlight is that it wasn't just the one poor kick for goal at the end of the game. His game was littered with mistakes.
They all recieve their clips on a Monday morning & that would have been hard viewing. Hardwick left with no choice but to drop him after that.

That was then, this is now. The game has gone past him and his skill, level and ability has gone backwards.
Royce Hart played in 4. He’s not getting a game, still has more skill and ability at 74

Don't listen to the Koklslappers if Griffens didn't retire and we didn't have Bulter Rioli & George we would still be waiting to win a flag.
He transformed us into a high pressure, attacking style side that drove us to 3 flags.
What he did last week, is unacceptable but he wasn't the only one.
Grimes has been ordinary since the bye, maybe even since the stkilda game.

I'm not advocating a place for George in the team.
he was shocking last week and so were a few others that aren't getting the stick he is.

George's main assests have always been his courage, endurance, breakaway pace, agility and run-down tackling pressure. That was his role, to use all those attributes to benefit the team. He has reasonably clean hands and he has a good leap due to his leg strength but unfortunately often spills the mark. He has kicked some good snap goals in general play where he doesn't have to think too much about it beforehand but clearly his set-shot kicking for goal is appalling for an AFL player. With teams as close as they are this year we just cannot carry a player who has lost so much confidence. With no repeatable goal-kicking routine he keeps kicking points and therefore gives the ball back to the opposition. In our premiership years we had a lot of other players to kick goals so his lack of goal-scoring could be covered by others, but not now. We need a pressure forward who has all of George's attributes but who can also kick easy set-shot goals. Eg. players like Marlion Pickett, Kam McIntosh but if they play on the wings we need to find others.

Well there’s plenty to work with

Nothing to do with whoever is so obsessed/low to take the time to put a low lights package of one of our own players.

Assuming it was a Richmond "supporter".

I was screaming at the TV as loud as anyone last weekend, but George has been a terrific clubman and has 3 medals to boot.

Badly out of form and should never have been picked. I blame the match committee.

Well plenty of people take the time to critique other players performances. I don’t see any difference taking the time to create a video demonstrating a players flaws.
