Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

Good premiership player who will bounce back soon.

Much better than Bolton in the same role.

But he has premiership player immunity according to some. But Townsebd doesn't. I am not sophisticated enough to know why.

Townsend plays a different role to Castagna. Caddy plays closer to the Townsend role and is better at it. He is other obvious change would be Moore but that would mean a small structural change change. Townsend's issue is he is slow. Took opposition by surprise with his late season inclusion last year. They worked him out this year.

Out of form, out of touch, out of confidence. Regressed further back from when he started.
With the likes of Bolton, Cellis and Menadue not providing much cover for injuries I'm not sure whether we persevere. Or send him back to the 2s for some confidence, maybe get him on the ball to get some touch.

Was happy with his set shot in the last quarter, his run up and follow through was a lot better. Fair enough he missed, but not by much.

But it barely made the distance and he wasn't a long way out - I was disappointed with that kick.

Because he has no run up, he has a walk up with a bloody stutter in the middle. What the hell is that, if you were a kid and you saw one of your mates doing that in kick to kick you’d laugh at him and you’d pick him last in a scratch match.

How about the ones on the full and the sets shots from 40 out that havent made the distance.
Cant believe that he can stay in the firsts with that form

Pre-game, George is usually Master of his Domain, but in recent weeks from siren to siren, he owes everybody $50.

It’s purely a psychological game...

To a amateur like myself you look at the stats and feel with the general observations of the game and think George should be running out in the VFL next week, however this is where I have total faith in Dimmi an co, they’ll know the impact his having and if his doing his job, in saying that I hope he can turn his goal kicking around like Towner did this time last year. Don’t over think it Georgie

Needs to bring back the stutter run up. Who ever coached it out of him should be sacked.

Good point. He’s probably been doing that run up all his football life.
Hard to train it out of a player now.
Go back to what worked best.
