Welcome to Tigerland Liam Fawcett -: pick 43 2023

Really good size about him already this kid in just his 2nd preseason. Bullish.

I remember reading somewhere last year that due to the type of injuries he had, they were able to have him in the gym bulking more than they would have in his 1st year, so physically he's probably ahead of where they were expecting him to be when he was drafted, certainly from a strength POV. I guess we will be working on his tank from now on.

I have high hopes for this kid, the cameos he showed at the end of the year showed a smart footballer.

Agree, we have so many kids already on the list we can build on with the 7-8 new kids coming in.
Campbell, Lefau, Gibcus, McCouglan.

I think he will surprise a few next year.

He has the instinct, the hands, the size the skills and the vision.

The only question mark for me is whether he can find it enough.

He did a couple of things at VFL level that made the crowd audibly gasp. Took the kind of park mark I haven't seen at Richmond at any level in the past 20 years outside of Riewoldt or Lynch.

Then slid through a contest on the wing like a Midfielder.

Very excited for his year.

Yes has the raw tools and build.

Not sure about that posh, after he had is bout of Glandular fever Liam like Colina had a back issue, not sure how much you'd be able to do in the Gym with that complaint. He is probably starting this season at ground zero and will slowly build up?

It was mentioned in 1 of the physio updates that they'd been able to work on other things. He certainly appeared to bulk up throughout last season. He's got a good physique from what we witnessed in the VFL last year

Glandular fever is unforgiving, took me a solid six months to truly get back to 100%.

This kid got it and missed chunks of the first season. Gets a mulligan.

We desperately need a young forward to jump up and grab a spot.

Good size and showed snippets. On the watch list.

A bit Bullish on him from the very limited amount I've seen of the kid.

Could become a player especially higher up the ground ie CHF.

Will be one to watch over preseason and 25 along with the new draftees.
