Welcome to Tigerland - Callum Moore

Caddy roves the ball in the square and runs into an open goal.

Seymour soared three stories high and tapped it down his throat.

Cotchin roves at ankle height and runs into the open goal.

Seymour spoiled it clean to the target.

Repeatedly soft when in front - this one has confidence issues but is a fine user.

Jack-class ball use. Brilliant.

Long shots on goal? Our man is improving. He used to be hilarious now he's just very bad.

Instinctive player. Smart with ball use. Quick and aggressive with the ball. Often inspired with it. Soft in front. Lazy in D.

A fine game against the spooner. Not busy enough. As usual.

You have to ask, how well did Jack play in his third game? It sounds like Moore showed a bit for such. Cannot expect much more at this stage of his career.

Thought he was good. Ran hard and competed well. Fought hard to bring the ball to ground. Wanna see him with jack. Stays in.

I have thought he was one of our major highlights for the day.

Ran his arse off, competed and brought ball to ground.

Definitely plays next week.

He did alot of things i didnt notice today at the game, Whilst i was happy with his efforts and statts just thought he should have had 2 goals but am home and re watching the game as i had recorded it and am seeing a lot of things i didnt notice.

2nd quarter 12 min mark Moore fly's 4/5 deep to spoil the ball about to be marked by carlisle with a punch 'Down' to Josh Caddy for Caddy's 2nd goal, Moore actually directed the punch down to caddy rather than attempt to mark the impossible from 4th /5th deep in the pack.

His instructions after Jack went down would have been to half every contest and get to as many as possible , Would have been screwed without him today with Jack going down
would suggest re watching the game and watching the 'Little' things he did

Thought he was OK ,it wasn’t far from a VFL backline he was playing against, 14 touches probably show he worked reasonably hard. I’m still far from convinced, however he must stay in for now.

Interesting baptism of fire having to play sole key forward all week, got a pass for his workrate and contesting. Also Saints get a massive fail for continually sending 3-4 up in the marking contest to free up ground numbers.

We may have to play another key tall this week to cover Jack, at least Moore will have worked with them in the VFL.

Definite pass from me.
Competed well.
Don't remember him being outmarked.
Upgrade on Towner.

His kicking is poor, he has a funny ball drop and that will not change.
To be fair his disposal was good @ 79% DE.

Few lead up marks and handball, can’t complain but defenders will be looking for that soon enough

Some of his leads up the ground were lightening quick too. After watching live and replay I thought it was a pass mark. Got to the contest most times and is capable of taking 1 or 2 more of those marks with a bit of confidence. One thing I think he could improve on is to apply a bit more pressure on opponents when they are running and disposing of the ball, (let me explain), Cal has elite closing speed, a couple of times I noticed he was chasing someone out who had the ball, he seemed to be going at about 80% but still gaining on them, in his own mind I reckon he thought they were going to get their kick away so wasn't quite prepared to chase at 100% only to realize late that he was a chance and accelerated further to get to the man a millisecond too late to affect the kick, (go hard straight away and he will be able to pressure them every time). Ps Moore's 80% is still 2 x faster than Towner's 100%. Get Moore to spend a bit of time with Towner on tackling and he should be fine.

Only had 7 kicks and 3 of those were shots at goal, all behinds. Kicking will be the area that let's him down, it will be interesting to see how he goes. Definitely competed well and deserves to hold his spot.

14p
6 marks
2 assists
Yep he kicked 3p , for third game he’ll get a pass for sure , will improve on that

Far from poor ... We aren't expecting him to be the no 1 target. Like all young players needs games to get up to the tempo. Sitting close to fence than I have fir a few years reminded me how fast the players have to be.
