Pleasantly surprised. Seems to have all the tools of a good player but none of the confidence. Hopefully a run of games at AFL level convince him that he belongs.

Very pleased with Riley's game. Spoke to one of his mums after the match. The one who had her phone off. She's lovely, and rightly proud.

Anyone notice his character when the boys pushed him to lead into the rooms and just quickly walked down on his own before realising the rest are way behind? Probably the reason he's taken so long to debut along with some of Dimma's doubts when he gets asked about RCD. Just looks like he's a bit unorthodox with the team protocols.
 
Wait until his body fills out.
At times he went head to head with the Bont and was not overawed.

As Dimma mentioned at times can't leave kids to long in vfl or they become vfl footballers his the type .
 
I may have read too much into how long it’s taken , and as a result had low expectations

He went much better than I expected

We waited a long time, pleasing to see that Dimma gave him a bigger role than a standard first gamer.

I’ve seen Shorty bully Dusty on a few occasions too.

I noticed that. Sublime and wouldn't have been possible if we didn't have the big frame in there imposing on the outcome. I reckon Kingsley will be relishing the potential RCD brings into the mix,
