Welcome to Tiger land Riley Collier’Dawkins

There's a great article in the Hun online, but unfortunately my access was removed tonight as the supercoach discount expired.

We interviewed him at his place on Tuesday night, but had expected he'd be gone by our pick. It was more telling his mum's what to expect if we drafted him.

He's loving the fact we drafted him and he gets to stay home. Dimma invited him to training tomorrow or Monday.

If Stocker was also available who would we have taken?

I'm confused. I've seen 10 different articles about him tonight, including RFC official website ( 190cm ) where his height is ranging from 190 - 194cm. How tall is he?

Searched the web for the best Player ranking I could find on RCD and it comes via Knightmare's Power Rankings below:

"9. Riley Collier-Dawkins (VIC)
Best position: Inside midfield
Height, weight: 193cm, 88kg
Recruited from: Oakleigh Chargers
Projected draft range: 9-19
Plays like: Marcus Bontempelli
Rationale: First possession winner at stoppages with a burst of speed and clean skills. Rises on the back of re-evaluation of upside and the sense that once he grows into his body, having grown 7cm over the past 12 months.
October Ranking: 16
Strengths:
Impact per possession
Wins first possession at stoppages on the move
Contested ball winning
Clean at ground level
Distribution by hand
Kicking
Vision
Decision making in traffic
Acceleration
Agility
Evasiveness in traffic
Overhead marking
Contested marking
Capable through midfield or up forward
Upside
Weaknesses:
Production
Consistency
Quiet when not around the ball at stoppages"

I love this pick. He is exactly what we need. From his highlights - I can see why he is likened to Cripps and the Bont. Big bloke who gets in, gets it and then absorbs the contact and gets his arms high to release it. Love it.

Nickname...

Alfred?

Neuman?

Got pretty much the same height and weight as Jack as a midfielder, so happy with that. Liking his run-down tackles.

Seems from all reports a good get. Finally we have a mid with some height & imagine when his body fills out

Speaks very well in latest RFC video:

I'm very stoked that Hyphen fell to us.

Damaging player.

Improved over the course of the season as he started to adjust to his physical advantages.

Plays well when he's angry.

Loves to bash and crash and then accelerate out of a stoppage.

Really glad we didn't pick another midget. He's a pick with loads of potential and similar footy background to a former tiger champion who started life in Tassie as a rover, then had a growth spurt. He then became a great mark yet still had the aggression to win contested ball whenever it hit the ground. Remember him? Royce.
