Welcome to the Tigers Nathan Broad

Those cheekbone injuries are all about getting the swelling down.
Never underestimate how important and tight that back 7 are.

Thanks Skulls.

Did he join the main group?
Contact work?
Another observation from training is Broad has become very 2 footed, spotted him drilling some missiles to team mates off both feet, including a left footed 40 meter pearler to DanielR.
The news must have been passed on earlier before training as C.Ellis looked very much in a sulky mood out there.
This kid has to raise his fight so speak.

Gaffer tape? Luxury. Now in my day we broke our own team mates cheekbones so the opposition couldn’t! Then we covered over in dripping to help mend but none of the fresh dripping, the 2 year old dripping Mrs Macpherson fed to her pigs. Ah...the good old days....

Drippin! Drippin! Luxury!

When I where lad, after we got up and hour before we went to bed and after 12 hour shift down pit. We would lick tar road for overtime before match! After we where murdered in cold blood, we would rub the line chalk into our wounds.

Ah...the good old days....

C Ellis probably found out within 5 minutes of the final siren last week.

Always been 2 footed mate, remember his 1st game for us was a pre season game @ Shitihad & he was doing left footers all game

Even last year I thought Broad was one of these battlers who didn't have a particularly long career ahead of him, but he's improved this year. He is a limited footballer, but he knows what they are and he plays well within them. In the Adelaide game he had this absolutely beautiful one handed pick up off the deck. It was Knightsesque. The Nathan Broad of 2016, probably even of 2017 wouldn't be able to do this. It's a better, stronger side with him in it.

Tough as old boots is our Broady, great to have him back :clap
It amazes me that blokes can play so soon after those sorts of facial injuries.
It surely takes incredible courage to able to front up and go into packs and collisions when there must still be some pain there.
Well done Broady.

Yes, it speaks volumes for his character and toughness.

Broad or Grimes to take Gresham. He likes playing against us, time to change that.

Bobble may likely get him with his run and pace.

Rance may take Membrey.

Broad might get Battle with Grimes to Billings

Short to Weller most likely.

Dave to Marshall.

Tigger to sweep up as the loose where we want him.

Good first half upon return from Nathan, defence looks better with him back there.

His teamwork with Grimes is good to watch.

Still getting stuck in and showing no fear. Helps to make our defence so sound
Yep - slotted in so easily.
Hard to remember he's played so few games and coming back this time from a pretty painful injury.
