A couple of weeks ago a little Broady birdy told me he Nathan Broad had re-signed for 2 years.

That same Broady birdy just told me he doesn't know why the club hasn't announced it but I was ok to let people know.

How times change, many.... MOST of us at round 7 2017 would have had a pencil though him. Things can turn around very quickly.

We will have 1 automatic and 1 no brainier desisting post the 2018 season. Griffiths and Hampson. Then there is a bucket of players who are fringe who might look elsewhere for senior football opportunity or want to go home. Miles - Lloyd - C Ellis the to some of the kids we may have been pushed down the pecking order - Drummond - Markov - Menadue and so on ???? I dont think we will have retirements, Grigg and Houli close.

As for a starting 22, premiership, top of the ladder defender who can play on talls and smalls the trade would need to be significant for Richmond to entertain.

Really put a shift in today on Fyffe in the last quarter and kept him fairly quiet. His confidence in his own ability has made him an important player for us

I think everybody is a bit shocked as to how important he is to our back 6. If he is not the most underrated player at Richmond or even the AFL for that matter I don't know who would be.

After the job he did on Fyfe he could very well become a tagger when we need that. Broad on Clangerfield, both in the midfield and when Clanger goes up forward, would be fun to watch
