Welcome to the Tigers Mate Colina

Embarrassing if he’s still on our list. He’s basically lost two seasons of development after being hideous in his first season ,
Then add that he’s still not fully recovered and a man of his size with recurring back injuries maybe still in hospital or rehab next year and beyond. I don’t see the point.

He is not costing us much except for medical bills so we may keep him for one more season to see if we can get a game or two out of him
Correct.

He came back in ripping shape in the preseason.

Our Cat B spots aren't full so like UK said, it's not costing a player a list spot.

Yep, have persisted this long we may as well keep him. He's costing us zero on the salary cap and we have no ruck coverage for Nank - not that Matè is that at this stage but it's obviously hoped that he and or OHB will...

Has played 7 VFL games in 3 years, all in 2022. . Most disposals 8, most hitouts 14, kicked 2 goals, 5 lifetime marks. What are we doing here? He ain't making it.

He is costing us because there is realistically no prospect of him becoming an first 26 type. So its the opportunity cost of not getting someone else through who just might make it.

His medical Bills and Rehab must be costing us a fortune also. We need another project and not a ruck because we basically have two projects already.

Keep him

There is no opportunity cost S there is no limit to the amount of cat b rookies you can have

Cut your losses, let him go, this is farcical. Yeah it might only be a cat b rookie spot but surely there’s another cat b rookie with more likelihood of producing something.

Agree. 2 years of nothing is long enough.

You still have to pay cat B players a wage and all the other things that come with having a player, travels expenses, medical, physio etc.

Clubs can have up to 4 Cat B rookie spots. We have only used 2.

If there was another Cat B player available that was worth getting, the club would have done it by now.

He's not keeping anyone out.
