Welcome to the Tigers Marlion Pickett!

I thought he played well for his first real hitout in the midfield against quality oppo. A few errors as he adjusted to the pace but did far more good than bad.
Dimma seemed happy post match.

I laughed when Dimma didn't get sucked in by the reporter who wanted Dimma to really hype Marlion up, Dimma just said fitter, leaner, knows our game plan better, just another "ROLE PLAYER" :D

I will never tire of Marlion Pickett stories, I can't get enough of them.
I loved the ground level vision of the GF, especially the footage of his goal. I had only seen Dusty giving him the nod, but hadn't seen the vision of Dusty prompting him by hand indicating that he was going to hit him up.

Yeah that was great, but so was Australian Story. How could you go wrong with that content? What a story, what a great advertisment for giving people second and third chances.

Agree, both were great. Seemed to be shared footage. I suspect Aus Story was targeted to a non-football audience. Although the AFL video had additional interviews of Marlion at the footy club and he looked more relaxed in front of the camera.

Look - Marlion isn't the best thing since sliced bread, isn't the best or even the third best midfielder we have but he is quality. From Sydney in defence to Rioli in attack with Sheds, Marlion and Shai in the middle we have players with amazing agility and poise. He will win so many more contests than he will lose. It is simply exquisite.

He will be glue just another player who turns an even contest into one which favours us. And he will do it many times each match. Damn it is going to be so much fun watching this year - may we never take him for granted.

Looking forward to just how far Marlion can go with ther Tigers this year.

He is certainly in the right place at the right time.

The WA clubs must be looking at our list of WA players and be trying to work out if they can pinch one or two.

Broad

Baker

Pickett

Stack

Bolton

Grover

Miller

English

They can have Miller and English at years end.
