Look at me Marlion. I’m flying“No, I didn't take him to the bloody hospital. Now tell me this, right? Why would I shoot a bloke; BANG; and then put him in the bloody car and whiz him off to the hospital at a hundred miles an hour? It defeats the purpose of having shot him in the first place. What's more, it's bloody insulting, it's bloody insulting. I mean, am I the only bloody standover man in the country who provides a medical plan for some of these characters?"
Hello Dyer, although I read this post of yours not long after it was published, the introduction doesn't feel right. My gut feel tells me it is actually in reverse. There is absolutely no doubt that the AFL and its subsidiaries are targeting Marlion Pickett because he has been in prison. That he is First Nations is just a coincidence.
Ghoul McLachlan is a remote and unenlightened man who is leaving the AFL because he can't bear to be associated with anything that shows him in a poor light. He has no idea whether he's responsible for that poor light. Accountability is a notion beyond him. It's all about how he looks. Shocking took the fall for the previous fiascos. And now there's nowhere for Ghoul to hide. Glen Bartlett has a bucket poised over Ghoul's head.
This AFL mob is well on the nose.
Apparently Marlion plays in a way that is dangerous, because he's tough, and may hurt someone.Even if it is tied to Marlion having served time, he is far more likely to have gone to gaol being indigenous, so you can't really separate the two.
I looked at the video attached to either this or the MRP thread and Marlion gets pushed and pushes back - how does Marlion get reported for that and the Brisbane player doesn't?
The only thing I can think of is that Marlion is the black fella in the altercation so it is racism.
DS
they don't know anymore .. it's psycho-babble ..WTF are they talking about?
it's hard to confront that idea, but i don't know what else it can be ?The only thing I can think of is that Marlion is the black fella in the altercation so it is racism.

I think it was an incident with Mathieson that he was cited for. Not the one you mentioned.Even if it is tied to Marlion having served time, he is far more likely to have gone to gaol being indigenous, so you can't really separate the two.

it's weird ..I think it was an incident with Mathieson that he was cited for. Not the one you mentioned.
No one seems to be able to find any damning footage though.

you know something is seriously *smile* up when you are agreeing with Cornes. Seriously. WTF are they on about, both Brisbane and Wilson.WTF are they talking about?
It’s most certainly not the silliest thing I’ve heard , I think the prejudice against Pickett is real , v lions last year , he was wacked right in front of the umpire , completely ignored by like he’s a second class citizen, Marlion responds with a wack of his own, free kick and report , could prejudice be any more blatantly obviousHello Dyer, although I read this post of yours not long after it was published, the introduction doesn't feel right. This is racially biased.
Marlion has been targeted enough and penalised enough for football actions that no-one else is penalised for, in most cases not even penalised on game day by a free kick. The fact that Marlion got lambasted across the AFL media for the very low impact bump and then a return lower impact push to an opponent cries of racism. The fact he was in gaol seems a pretty loose tie for mine.
Andrew Krakouer had a stint in the big house, I don't recall this playing a part on his return treatment.
The rest I couldn't agree more with you on.
Go tigers
No apparently's about it! The bloke is tough & dangerous. I reckon he is becoming one of the most feared players atr least physically. He hurts but it's almost always as part of the game. He is either tackling hard, shepherding (what a joy to see him do this) or bumping. Has he actually ever got someone in the head? They are hurt, but its exclusively body. He is just plain hard. The AFL don't like it but I bet his teammates love it. I know I do.Apparently Marlion plays in a way that is dangerous, because he's tough, and may hurt someone.
FMD the AFL is cooked.
Just like Byron Pickett from North. Bloody full on.No apparently's about it! The bloke is tough & dangerous. I reckon he is becoming one of the most feared players atr least physically. I reckon Caro added a bit of mayo to the story.
Am I missing something? There was a bump, Bailey shoved Marlion, and Marlion shoved him back. Why is Brisbane angry? What the hell is Caro going on about...has she got early onset dementia? Marlion is going to spoken to to curb his aggression?
Really, what is going on here?
