Welcome to the Tigers - Daniel Rioli

Not getting a kick. Strutting around like a superstar.

Not getting his hands dirty. Avoiding contact. No pressure.

First game back in, should go back out. Lot of excuses on here.
Yeah I thought he stunk it up.
Has looked off this year.
Easy to be I suppose but he would want to pull the finger out.
Has definitely plateaued after a nice steady upwards trajectory.

My 7 yo nailed it.... Dad, i think after he couldn’t play, he cut his hair so the coach won’t know then looked and was tricked then said let’s give that guy a go

AFL app you can add it in to the ledger and sort players through it
Some interesting results there. Lynch 18 and Jack 16 (in our top 6), yet Broad and Grimes 6 and 3 respectively (bottom three). Seems odd

Really good game from Broad but I think he was our spare (or one of!). Seemed to get a lot of ball on his own. However, hardly made an error.

He runs his arse off.

Broad is often running up the KMs on the far side of the ground and was open for the switch a lot as the Swans dropped back and the Tigers kept looking for a way around so they switched sides more than often do.

He often gets overlooked as the Tigers often switch to the middle or go down the line.

Watching a game live from the stand you will see him running the line on the far side of the ground whether he is involved or not.

One of the resons he always got picked doing the dirty work, his role.

I love Broad. Terrific role player.

Big whisper
Will be given the captaincy this week. A reward for his outstanding form.
Can we have Townsend back?

There has been whispers that hes been struggling with the current Corona Climate and associated disruption.

Stack also.

If he comes out & plays a blinder this week then all credit to Dimma..

I think if he does, it only further illustrates he can play a blinder then have an average four weeks and he holds his spot. Not the ideal message. He’s out of credits in the back.

Rioli since the season restart

Average disposals: 6.5
Average tackles: 1.5
Average goals: 0.2

Bolton since the season restart:

Average disposals: 11.0
Average tackles: 3.25
Average goals: 1.2

Both players have been dropped the same amount of times this season.

I’d nearly say it’s unfair to compare the two as Bolton has played midfield, so of course he averages more disposals.

But Rioli played forward much more, yet has kicked just 1 goal in total since the restart.

Reckon we might be wanting some continuity and stability.
He has proven himself before.
He has limited credits though.

Leading a charmed life. No way he should be in the team. That said, hope he plays well.
