Welcome to the Tigers - Connor Menadue

Menadue suffers from the same stage fright as ellis. At this stage rather mcintosh or townsend

On a like for like he's a better replacement for C.Ellis, he plays a different role to Towner and has better VFL form than KMac.

I would like to see Towner come back into the side, i just hope he's pulled up ok, he went off injured on Saturday but came back on.

I would trust McIntosh in the afl over menadue. Has put in too many weak efforts

Agree that McIntosh has the runs on the board.
I see a lot of potential in Menadue, he has only played 30 games. I'd rather we keep him than Lloyd and Miles.

Still has a chance in my eyes. Just needs to believe as he has a ton of ability.

His draft mate Ellis is goneski. last chance saloon for conor. Has the rest of the season to step it up.

Happy to see Menaredue get another chance over the next couple of weeks, he's earning the opportunity with his work in the magoos.

Just on the magoos, is it possible that some of our up n coming youngsters are simply getting VFLised at the moment? There's not been a lot of injuries of any note over the last two years n we've got a stack of fringies over performing at VFL level but unable to impact beyond an occasional glimpse at AFL level. There's a couple of mature players had their chances in Lloydo, Towner n Snipper, as well as Seymoore, Cellis, Menardue, Lego, Shai n Wombat. They get a game or two n then fade back to magoos to learn some stuff with rarely enough time to grow to AFL pace n pressure.

Higlet, Jaaack2 n obviously Sausage have performed well at magoos n earned their extended runs at senior level, none have spent extended periods in the magoos right from the start, but the others seem to be struggling to consolidate or even manage to impact at senior level when they get their chance.

Just not sure Connor will make it at the highest level. He & C Ellis whenever they get a chance they don't make the most of it. For someone who is quick, he looks quite awkward unless he is out in clear space

Connor's shown a fair bit more at AFL level than Corey IMO. He's had a couple of nice games.

He has and has pace which Corey lacks. However both have simply not got enough of the ball in the 1s imo. I don't care that we play a low possession style game. Neither of those guys get enough of the ball to utilise their respective strengths (kicking and in Connor's case pace).

Menadue has had plenty of chances too probably more chances than Ellis
If Markov was fit he would be the one unlucky to get dropped before finals last year

Corey Ellis has shown sweet F All apart from not being up to it.

Menadue has shown F All as has Bolton.

These guys are all VFL players for the rest of the season IMO,no more risks with passengers who have proved nothing more than soft or lazy.

Give Baker a shot at least he has some mongrel and Isnt scared. hell have a dip unlike Menadue, Corey and Shai, who can all stay in the VFL till the end of the season and we work out whether to pull the trigger on them or keep them.

He played on the wing 3 weeks in a row and didnt get anywhere near it and just lurked around avoiding contests.

Thats why he went back to the VFL.

Not up to it as of right now, not hard enough.

Huge night for Connor. Although unlike Corey, Miles and Lloyd, he is guaranteed an opportunity elsewhere if we don't retain him. His skill set is in vogue. Speed to burn. And given his chronic ectomorphism he was always going to take time. But I'm still hoping he can distinguish himself in yellow and black, and that tonight's the night.
