Welcome to the Tigers - Connor Menadue

He needs to be told to back himself and use his pace. Too often he propped and looked around for support only to find he was on his own.

Agree

Markov was better last week in the Vfl he is a better option

Markov was quiet today in the VFL. Menadue has been consistent and deserved his opportunity and hopefully will get a couple more games. Needs time to adjust to pace and different players.

Played like a guy who's been in the VFL for too long. Agree he needs another week or two to find his feet.
Yep, constantly searching for who was around him rather than knowing someone was there.

Markov has been inconsistent. The brief injury layoff recently didn't help. A few more good performances are needed for him to demand a spot.

Is a boss at VFL. Is timid and fumbly at AFL level. Cellis much the same. How do we get these guys to believe in themselves?

Only one way I’d say BT an that’s to play them for a period of time , like all other players give them a job to do, get the job done and start to believe, both boys really need to cement themselves in the 22 in the second half of the year.

Took a while to adjust to the tempo. Must play again.

This.
He got caught a few times early, but you could tell he started to settle in as the game went on....he knows what to do, and is good enough to do it......just needs to get some consistent time in the ones...
No doubt he will be a very dangerous player for us

Barely sighted. If he keeps his spot it’ll be because of Houli,s injury.

Yes.

If he gets another game next week, it will only be on the grace and good will of the match committee.

Fumbled & bumbled and looked super nervous.

In and out of the side for three years i think its getting very close to pulling the pin on him and move on

Was terrible in the first half, better in second half, with Houli likely to miss he'll probably play next week, i hope he does.

You may be right - but reckon he needs more than one game to make the call.
Ideally he'd play 3 or 4 in a row and be given a chance to show what he's been doing at VFL level - and maybe Houli's injury makes more likely for this week at least.

He hasnt been previously , has played some good footy, deserves a couple of games at least
