Starting to see why the club have had such big wraps on this kid. Does good things at important times, is quick, can tackle and is doesn't make mistakes. just needs to get more of it now.

Yes we have been crying out for players who can stand up in the big moments and deliver - we have one here and like Rioli they don't need a stack of it to hurt the opposition.

Still stands besides contests without getting involved needs to move through the contest more often.

i reckon it can be tricky for guys who are told to stay outside to be an option, as i assume he would be.
not saying he doesnt need to get in and gt his hands dirty at times, but it is probably in his head he needs to be open to receive the ball.

Grigg was the same a few years ago when he played as a permanent winger.

Good game last night. Solid contributor and was a very calm presence. Used the ball well.

A good comeback after his 'mare against Sydney.

Have a look at the replay at 10.50 in the 2nd term just before Lambert shanks the resulting shot at goal.
Afterburners not seen since Lids at his absolute fastest. He left Port players clutching at thin air and bolted 100m.
Oh boy brilliant stuff.

Anyone who still has the game recorded watch the bit of play between 11-9 minutes on the clock in the 2nd quarter and tell me we haven't got a player.
1st passage receives handball in tight traffic off half back explodes away from 3 Port Players bullet pass to Reiwoldt in centre continues to run to receive handball but Jack goes to Dusty, Connor meanwhile continues to run and receives handball from Dusty at CHF handballs to Lambo who fluffs it, (magic passage of play). A minute later he chases down Jake Mead, (who is lightening quick), in defense.

If not for the fluffed kick, would have won goal of the week

TBF to Lambert the last handball wasn't ideal, he had to rush the kick. Great play by Connor leading up to that though.

Seriously TOO I did not see your post, I were dissecting the replay when BANG!! that bit of play hit me, (Run Forrest Run!), and had to post for others to relive and enjoy. So yeah great minds! PS. He did some other seriously good work in 2nd half also. Very happy how he is tracking.

Must have had a week away from the club. Only one having a crack tonight
Agree, run hard both ways all night but impossible to play well in a team performance like that.

He showed a bit of character last night. I hope you continues with that confidence for the rest of the season.
