I liked his first few touches. Quick on his feet, Hands looked good. Chased hard. But I can't recall seeing much of him after that.

Seems he's been called out as having a bit of a sooky game after being dropped to the VFL.
Put that down to a bit of immaturity. Hopefully responds in the right way this week.

He could also simply be tapering off as young kids can do.

from what i have seen he is a bit of a goer so to be a sooky as well would be a suprise. could be just out of form.
tho don't forget he's been the sub in 4 of his 5 games so match fitness won't be where it should be

Connor Menadue
25 disposals, three clearances, five marks, one goal
Produced the best performance of his debut season with the Club. Played the majority of time at half-back, picking up 25 possessions. He helped set up our offense, and he’s really starting to feel comfortable in this role. Importantly, from a long-term perspective, he now has the ability to play through half-back, wing and half-forward. It’s been a really good opportunity for him to show his on-field flexibility.

And he made me feel old when at the 1/4 and 3/4 time huddles I got to see him close up and (understandably I suppose) he's looks just like a skinny little school kid.
But it indicates some good signs for the future.

With Kids do we get them in after one good game? He's been quiet the weeks earlier...

Need to manage him so that he is still running on top of the ground in October.
