Welcome to Richmond Chris Yarran

Geez, not off to an auspicious start is Yaz. Hopefully comes into the senior team in ripping form (and shape!), cos he owes the club now.

Yarran to miss first third of season

According to ABC news Chris Yarran is to miss the first third of the season due to calf injury...........not clear whether he re-injured it in the last day or so........not a good start .....

The only way is up

We need him peaking in September. Don't mind him working up to proper fitness.

Re: Yarran to miss first third of season

Dodged a bullet with Trengrove last year, but copped it in between the eyes with Yarran.

Due diligence. ..

Why do we insist on recruiting from Carlscum? Hasn't exactly been a gold mine for us.

Anyway - hope he comes good and puts in a seriously good second half of the season. History tells us it's unlikely.

Not mentioned by Dimma that he will miss two months. Just that it is unlikely he will be playing senior football until the second third of the season.

No mention of him 'missing' two months in the article on the site we cannot name either. Trained this morning doing laps and some kicking.

At least he didn't do his injury while playing Frisbee with his dog
Hope his back for preseason next year

How many weeks till the second half of the season as DH referred to? A couple of months would be similar wouldn't it?

Cotton wool approach by the Tigs , nothing wrong with that , bring Yazz in when fully fit and ready to go

We've had a golden run with injury the last three years, can't complain about a unfit bloke with a calf niggle.

The football gods give, the football gods take.

I'm more curious about the contact we had with him at trade time and then the program we set for him over the break. It's now Feb and he hasn't been in full training for how long? 8-weeks? longer? I don't know of any calf niggle that is that long unless it is a full blown tear. Just seems odd. Are we being polite and saying "he turned up out of shape and we put him in the fat group?"

It's not the end of the world.

It's at least a bit of a concern given what we know about his history at the Blues re his attitude. I just hope he gets over it quickly.

I recall a couple of weeks ago a report maybe from Richo (Dan that is) that he has had a couple of tears.

Exactly mate.

The sky is falling!!

Talk of Yazzy not having an impact or losing out on the trade is jumping at shadows.

Yazzy Days will arrive with a bang in 16'.

Tears as in years or tears as in pears?
