Welcome Sam Naismith

Cal Twomey saying we’re interested in Naismith and also Lycett (Not both, either/or)

We should have just got Darren Jolly.
Johnny Ironmonger might have a chance.
Why aren't we talking to Brad Ottens??
His knees are held together with Sticky tape But he is ok.
The AFL must not be going good in the juniors.
Clubs paying 700k for duds like Ratonmygear and Essendon recruiting a bloke that is on the pension.
It's not good.
How bad are the ruckman in the SANFL or WAFL??

This makes sense now The Club is banking its 2024 season on 1 bloke that was cooked in 2022 and the other that can disappear mid game. A typical Richmond list management decision.
we need a ruckman but not Naismith there must be a kid in the WAFL or SANFL

Lycett is cooked but Collingwood are offering him a deal.. if Lycett was any good Port wouldn't have traded 54 picks to get Soldo.

Alert**kids anyone over 6'4 and still under the age of 45 you have a chance to play AFL.

No wonder Essendon offered Philips more coin to stay but he walked so they went to next best option.

Fair point. Are the quality tall Jnrs starting to choose basketball as their chosen & preferred sport?
Maybe this mature basketballer trend has merit given they’ve already cha$ed their NBA dreams & fallen short but still have athletic ability. The Mason Cox situation an example of that…

There'll be a lot to choose from if that's the case.

Maybe or the AFL are fudging the numbers.
But every weekend every park near me is full of kids playing AFL.
It doesn't make sense.
Looking back this started in the late 80's.
The ordinary Ruckman that could have a 10 yr career in the AFL.
1 thing I've never really worried being a Richmond supporter, we have always found a quality full forward and ruckman. They haven't been our issue. The other 16 position's have been our biggest issue.
We will pluck a ruckman from somewhere.
We need a Justin Charles...

We were too hasty in getting rid of him after only 4 games and a 1.25goal average
He deserves another chance Bring him back!

2024 will be the first time in 57 years that we won't have a tall Tassie spearheading our attack!

Sad really!

Royce Hart 1967 - 1977
Michael Roach 1977 - 1989
Benny Gale 1990 - 2001
Matty Richardson 1993 - 2009
Jack Reiwoldt 2007 - 2023

............ special mention John Klug

Is there any in the upcoming draft?
