Welcome Jacob Koschitzke

Watched the replay and the Irishman Keane, who went down twice like he'd been shot (Kosi elbow and Cumbo shove) was holding, blocking and scragging him all night. I suspect that's why Cumbo wanted to get into him after that mark. But yeah, Kosi battled away for little reward. If his name was Curnow he'd have kicked three or four from free kicks.
Like I said earlier: Keane put a bunch of mayo on that.

Obviously the MRO agreed and maybe was wise to the fact a number of these Gaelic boys go flopping and flailing whenever they incur any contact.

Good decision. Case closed.

Keane was doing that thing when you were a kid, crying but checking to see if mum or dad are watching.

I noticed the same. I’m not sure whether he’s instructed to do that or not. Get higher to palm the ball down, but far simpler to jump and mark.
Yes, but can Samson run and jump for a mark? He can jump a bit when rucking but I'd have to look at his marking attempts again. If he is just trying to jostle for position so he can use his height then no wonder he is being scragged and unable to hold a mark. Would like to see him coming in from the side like Royce used to do then any scragging or blocks could be more obvious for the umps to see...then again he's a tiger, so maybe not.

Play him
Some of those inside 50 Michael Roach wouldn't mark them.
He is a lead up forward..do more Brown kicks then Short orbit balls.

I have still missed what went on for Kosi to stiff elbow the Crow so was he fouled first and just reacted and got pinged for it or just being stupid?
Crowbait just having a typical defenders game, hanging off, scragging n bustling the forward constantly, regardless of where the ball is. Kosi simply used the old tried n true forwards tactic to create a bit of space n poked a pointy elbow into the solars. Works every time, but *smile* expensive tool to use these days.

I just don't get how defenders constantly hold forwards and yet, apparently, Holding the Man is still a rule.

Thanks for that. I saw nothing much in it at the time but a bit of play acting and the retaliation coloured the umps and MRO eyes as usual

Wasn't much to see on the t.v. from Kosi, reckon the pointy might only have traveled a cuppla inches at most but it hit the sweet spot perfectly n the Crowbait went down like a $2.00 hooker.

Until we have a better option, I think Kosi plays. We desperately need tall targets in our forward line. One tall forward gets mauled every time.

Did he swap with Balta in the last?

That miss from about 25 on a slight angle in the second quarter was a killer.

Has to kick those.

Far from the worst the last two weeks.

Prefer to Ryan up front, crashes packs.
