Both the Cats & the Giants play a similar style.
Not confident now. Giants looked gassed in the last quarter & a half.

Just said it was passion. Given his character I really don't know why this Gestapo league has to keep making a mountain out of a molehill.
Maybe the AFL should setup and fund another Swans academy. What ive realised watching these teams play finals is that none of them know how to win. Its basically the team that didnt lose rather than the team that won. Just shows how good a bloody side we have been!
I wanted Swans to win they were all over GWS and would have been a much better bet to beat Geelong next week. Geelong will be pleased that GWS are a relatively slow team compared to Swannies.
One of the luckiest wins you’ll ever see I reckon. That last quarter by the Giants was pathetic. They didn’t try to win; just hung on for grim death and got lucky that the Swans couldn’t kick straight. Whitfield is supposed to be a beautiful kick but turned it over straight to Swans players twice in last 5 minutes.
And then the Giants just kept kicking it to packs for the Swans to take an easy mark and send it back in. Who said Daisy Pearce was good at special comments? Giants spent the whole last quarter kicking the ball to packs for Swans to mark and with 2 minutes to go she declares that’s what the Giants need to keep doing? So, keep doing what hasn’t worked all quarter Daisy? Right. The next play a Giant kicks to a pack for a Swans mark………..How do these people get jobs?

Meh. Neither of these teams are any good at finals footy. Cats will get another week in finals but will get hammered the following week. Have to go all the way to Perth now

When I was a Primary school aged kid. One of the blokes who lived a few doors down, in his late teens early 20s, carried the nickname “Brains”. As a naive 9-10YO It never occurred to me why. Played state league ressies footy and apparently used to do dumb *smile* like that on the ground often.
When I was a bit older, seeing his name regularly published in the court notices I worked it out. That would be Toby Greene if he was also just a local ressies footballer.

The Giants play a simple style that will challenge Geelong next week.
Win the clearances and then methodically take it forward, then look for the kick to 1 of the talls within 25m of goal.
Geelong also rely on a similar game.
Just saw what he did. Idiotic. No real force in it but it was clearly deliberate and he should get weeks.

Nah that’s *smile*. Absolutely intentional and completely unnecessary contact with an umpire. That’s not on and a clear breach of the rules. He deserves whatever comes his way.
