Trent Cotchin (Merged)

Richmond acknowledges interest in captain Trent Cotchin’s availability ahead of this Saturday’s Dreamtime game.

Cotchin remains a part of the football program in Sydney, and is monitoring a personal matter at home in Victoria.

Richmond General Manager- Football Performance, Tim Livingstone said the Club would continue to support Cotchin and his family however possible.

“Trent has our full support and as always family comes first,” he said.

The Club will make no further comment.

My kids in hospital, hang on I'll just pull the phone out and take a snap of it for my instagram.

What the *smile* is wrong with people.
If the Cotchin's daughter is sick in hospital then that's an awful thing but I totally agree with this take.

Sending out a personal photo of your kid on a hospital bed to your 41k followers is..

I agree with the Cotchins - if it was my kid in hospital the I would want to be there with them - stuff work family is more important.
That has been the club's attitude up to now, can't see why they'd change it.

Whether he plays might depend on whether WA allows him to fly into and out of Melbourne. If the attitude of Eagles supporters is anything to go by, it'll be a big fat No.
