Trent Cotchin (Merged)

You see what Ellis has to say about him for his 250 and you see why the boys love him and play for each other. He sets the tone, makes it safe for all. Intelligent man is Trent.

Ok let's bury this now.
The day Cotchin chose to kick into the wind against port in the final.
Was all Mark William's fault.
He told Cotchin the wind wouldn't be a big issue at the start of the game.

I love a good hard luck story. But when your side is massacred the toss at the start of the game is irrelevant.

I was at that game. Massacre.

I remember watching it on TV. Port were astounding in that first quarter, just so fast and everywhere at once. They couldn't sustain it for weeks on end but I'm not sure who would have challenged them that night. I just figured we were beaten by a far better team on the night.

Cotch may not always get big numbers but what he does do more than makes up for it. Even tonight he put in a very good shift without the numbers to show for it

His willingness to embrace his vulnerability changed our club forever.
He's an incredible role model for not just our players but all Richmond Men.
Amazing leader.

Chimp was BOG IMO.

Historic game. Six behind victory in a PF.

My fear is that Chimp had to play 90 min when all he was conditioned for was 40 minutes. My doubt is that he'll be right for 40 matchwinning minutes next week.

I should share less of my fears. And thus meditate. All is good. Like a kazoo in

I was there too ,

The bus ride home was torture,

I would put it up there with the prelim in 95 as my worst Richmond experiences

I said it before and i say it again.
If he was playing in the round 11 game against port we wouldve won.
He leads from the front and the rest follow.
It will take the club another 100 years to find another Cotchin.
