I will watch Cotchins first contest.
That will say everything I need to know.
Pity the poor Port players who fall into his clutches.
Would love to see another Mumford tackle.

Yep , just reading his achievements, hard to believe his only had one All Australian , don’t want to moz the skip in anyway, however there’s not many players I’d want going into a big game over the Skip.250 this week I think.
Bloody great clip.
Not enough Gold in the worldBuild that statue already.
I was at his first, too. Wet day, against the Cats iirc, joined the first kick, first goal club.Just saw the video for Cotch’s 250 tonight on the club site.
Teared up a bit...
Saw his first game and knew it straight away that we had a champion.
At the first FTF event at the club before he was the skip I had a chat to him and told him I could see him holding the Cup up one day with Dimma as the skipper.
I was right only problem was my dream was in our traditional jumpers and Cotch and Dimma the opposite sides of the cup. So 2017 was arse about but 2019 was at it was supposed to be.
Love the Cotch!!!!
Thanks for everything champ and go smash ‘em tonight skipper!
Trent Cotchin is Richmond
I recall a game in his first season at the MCG playing Cartoon where the ball was sprayed towards the HFF/pocket at the PRE on the members side of the ground where Cotch was leading the chase to the ball with Marc Murphy hot on his tail. Cotch picked the ball up off the ground within a metre of the boundary line, propped and pirouetted in the one motion whilst taking Murphy’s tackle on. Amazingly he slipped the tackle, made Murphy look a fool as he sailed over the line with nada, whilst the Cotch had turned back inside and nailed a kick to a Tiger forward (can’t remember who) about 20m out on a very slight angle. Mark, goal!Favourite Cotchin movements..
