32 with no significant injury (i am laying on a wooden bench) would be premature wouldnt it?

Love machine as captain, cotchy in the pocket at least till 34.

Burgoyne is 56
Just reporting what his old man told us in Shepp. Oldie then pointed out Trent has four years to run on his contract, so we'll see.

All the stats talk needs to factor in that the team as a whole have less disposals per game in 2017/2018 compared to previous years.

Partially sharing the load, but also our gameplan and focus changed. More direct and quicker. Less of the short kicks to keep control. So all stats went down

Same for Dusty. less 30+ games from them both. But happily more wins!

Cotchin's stats were down quite a bit in areas in 2018 on 2017. Change in game plan doesn't really explain that. Rebound 50s were down yet so were his inside 50s and kicked significantly less goal and less clearances. I thought Cotchin had a relatively down 2018 compared to previous years. He particularly went missing quite often for whole quarters. Not really something I've been used to seeing from him. I'm sure he'll be wary of that and look to be more consistent this year across 4 quarters. Saying all that he's still an absolute gun player and has been a pleasure to watch but as he ages he'll undoubtedly become more of a role player. I always have in the back of my mind his comments a couple of times over the years to the effect that he didn't plan on playing for a long time, that he had other goals in life as well.

It is interesting to note that average game time for Cotchin has dropped in each of the last 4 years from 85.4% in 2015, 81.6 in 2016, 79.9 in 2017 and 76.5 last year.

Shame he shaved the beard off.
Was looking a lot like my wife.
Kind of a turn on.

Cotch was brillant last night. Plays with authority now which makes him great to watch.
Wouldve been nice to see him kick the set shot goal but overal was great to watch.

From chocolates to boiled lollies.

Martin has copped some flack but why does our Captain escape any scrutiny?

Because if they did the B&F today Cotchin would be on 6 votes and Martin on 0
Cotchin has been good
