Trent Cotchin (Merged)

Bloody physical game from the skipper. Took some heavy knocks and put himself on the line time and time again.
He was a real desperado setting the tone for his team.
Well played

Yep I thought he was a bit quiet in first half but I think he had 18 touches so sometimes you miss some of the grunt work he does. But I didn’t miss it after half time. He was phenomenal.
Quietish first quarter, huuuge second quarter.

Loved his game and also his push on Treloar! *smile* you *smile*!

Treloar is good in a average team.
collingwood have better kids, greenwood, Mayne, Dunn, Varcoe & Howe

When he sets the tone we rarely lose games.

Don't know who kicked or hand passed to him on the wing ( first quarter ) and nearly got him sent to next week but he just got straight up.

Tough.

That altercation with Treloar on the wing was beautiful. Just reminding thim that Collingwood have the better list and will win a flag in the next few years.

You have to laugh.

BOG The Chimpah. Nank a close second.

that was retaliations because AT jumped into Cotchy's back when he was prone on the ground and the ball was dead. Sniping prick.

You can never be the hunted if you are the hunter. The skipper hunts the ball every week like very few others.

How many contests does he look like being zero chance of impacting and he just launches into it and halves or gain yardage?

Imposes himself on every contest. And the side step and power through the hips is back. Might be better than 2012.

I like Daniel Cherny, nice kid, but in his write-up of the game in The Age, he did not mention Chimp once. He gave five players votes, including Caddy (BOG according to Dan), Pendlebury and Howe, but not the best player on the ground. The glass of the media box must obscure the vision.
