Training For Redemption in 2022

Wrapt you’re now on board.
Cross your toes whilst you’re at it.
We need him firing
When you say onboard , I am always onboard with all Richmond players and want them all to succeed
Stack has me worried and its looking less and less likely he will make it at Richmond.

5 Rounds into the season and dwindling away in the 2's without showing his afl qualities is worrying , He has had the earliest start to his preseason and virtually uninterrupted except for the1 week isolation period .

He should be smashing the door down but is barely getting a mention in the VFL apart from the gimmick factor of "Sydney Stack watch. Jake Aarts who has 10% of the talent Sydney Stack has played more games

Hope he makes it but looking like a 30% chance at the moment

Aarts is 27yo, Stack is 21. There is time.

They were drafted roughly around the same time , Stack has 10 times the talent of Aarts

Carl Peterson comes to mind , Was an absolute freak of a footballer and just didnt want to work for it

Stack in my eyes is nowhere near the talent Peterson was

You really need to go to spec savers.
Stack came 3rd in the rising star off no pre season.
Peterson not in the same class.
Your dreaming

or have never seen Peterson play

Stack had a good 1st year with some good games but Peterson was a freak and like SS , Didnt have the work ethic or desire to continue.

Don’t get too excited.
Peterson was a total non event for Richmond playing 0 games before being delisted and then played a couple of reasonable games for Hawthorn for a grand total of 17 AFL games in total.
Not a pimple on Sydney’s a$$ talent wise

All at the age of 23, which will be Stack in 2023. bizarre statement to say he was much better than Stack.

Stacky only has to look 6 lockers down to look, listen and learn from the man that occupies the #50 locker.

It all comes down to work ethic and want.

A random point of interest, Sydney Stack is now the age Marlion Pickett was when he started his WAFL career (playing WAFL reserves).

Not Goat but comparing him to Stack only because of both being extremely talented and freakish abilities

I once watched him play in the ruck for our 2nd team for 3 quarters on a proper ruckman

He dominated in the ruck and kicked 3 goals collecting 20+ touches

Didnt play alot of games for Richmond and went home until he come back and played for the hawks

If i could get 200 games from either player i would take Peterson

But both lay players that just wanted to play without training or putting in the work

J O N . Peterson , Taylor , Tambling (different reasons) , Stack

There is a sheet load of natural footy talent there
