Would not have been his heart - he doesn't have one!We could have just used one from Coleman Jones before we shipped him off

On Sydney, he may have been told based on his GPS/HR data to cruise through sets 4/5 and use as a recovery for rest of the session. I assume he hits his thresholds quicker than others and if they blow him up in the running he will be useless for the ball drills. I also base this on him doing extra runs at end of session. High quality first, volume 2nd. Of course I could be wrong but it makes sense to me.Caesar, definitely not having a go at you. And yes I'm an optimist. I went and watched the shuttle runs from next to the entrance to the Tiger Den and watched Broady, Hugo, RCD and Stacky closely. It appeared that MRJ pushed himself through all 5 sets. (The cramps 5 mins later support that.) Stackman cruised sets 4 and 5 but then looked good in the very next drill with ball in hand. Maybe he just paced himself knowing it was a 2.5 hour session. And then did some catch up work.
But will agree. He looked fit and trim.
Kane however looked ripped.
Steve Morris was doing the shuttles with the team. The focus was very much on RCD and Hugo. They switched RCD from the middle of the group to run with (and keep up with) Broady. I clearly heard Steve call that out. They did not push Sydney. The dynamics in the group are fun to watch. To my eye there seems to be a level of some senior guys taking some of the younger guys under their wing and pushing them through some of the exercises. Definitely seemed that way with Shorty and Dow and how Nathan was being asked to drive Hugo and Riley. On Sydney, he may have been told based on his GPS/HR data to cruise through sets 4/5 and use as a recovery for rest of the session. Lambo and Broady are two of the clubs elite athletes when it comes to running so its good to see them setting the standard and putting the kids through their paces and showing them what its all about when neither of them need to be there and could be enjoying the rest period.Steve Morris was doing the shuttles with the team. Totally agree. Shows some good signs re intent around the group.
JR8, GOAT, Grimey, Sheds, and Cotchy can keep their feet up for a bit longer.
Like me even at my athletic zenith, Id try but endurance running was not for me.So not exactly a sign that Stack is lazy then! Or unfit.
Could it be that he’s simply a poor endurance runner? Like a lot of the indigenous boys?
Heard you’re quick with a script and lightning with an invoice tooLike me even at my athletic zenith, Id try but endurance running was not for me.
I couldn't run endurance for anything I was always in the last 5 stragglers when it cam to anything over sprints.
Middle distance weak as pisss, long distance extremely extremely poor.
BUT !!
I was as fast twitch as it got, could sprint fast smashed everyone in sprints, high jumping and agility, reaction hand eye I was ace (hence I always played my footy as a Key Defender.
Every time I got thrown in the ruck due to my height I was cooked in no time at all.
But I would also recover quickly.
No endurance whatsoever, it wasn't in my make up I was definitely a more explosive type physically.
Shows how selfless these guys are & how great out culture is, these guys are essentially helping guys who can take their spots...Lambo and Broady are two of the clubs elite athletes when it comes to running so its good to see them setting the standard and putting the kids through their paces and showing them what its all about when neither of them need to be there and could be enjoying the rest period.

Syd's presentation and effort at the minute. I suspect how he comes back from the Christmas break will tell us a lot.
Not at the late night Kebab place I hope.Saw Syd on Swan St yesterday, looked in fine fettle to me
These guys would have a huge burning in the guts ( I’m talking dodgy vindaloo burning) after last years poor result , proud proud bunch who want their *smile* title backShows how selfless these guys are & how great out culture is, these guys are essentially helping guys who can take their spots...

See that’s where you’ve gone wrong yott, cooked correctly .your mixing your curry metaphors Mr Bright. A decent chillie con-carne or a Thai green curry can burn the gut but a vindaloo cooked correctly tends to burns when you are sitting on the royal chamber
Cheers Caesar, much appreciated as always!.
Is Riley the big bull inside mid everyones so desperate to draft
