Training For Redemption in 2022

I did get back and hear Dimma say sometimes they have to protect Nank from himself but he looked good to go to me.
Thanks Caesar. This is a massive game coming up. Avoid the dead cat bounce and absolutely obliterate #lolNorf to put our season back on track, or eke out an ugly win or heaven forbid a loss.

I would imagine the team received a massive spray after the GC debacle, and I'm curious to know what the spirit is like on the track this week?

Yep, just listen to Dimma's hoarse voice in the after game presser lasting just 3 minutes.

I can't help you with the small forwards as all of Aarts, George, JNR and Edwards trained in what I would mostly considered the B team but obviously not all would be out???
Well three are out and deservedly so.

After watching the rest of training I believe both Nank and Cotch will play.
Nank did every drill and was one of the last on the track and towards the end Cotch did a scrimmage drill and the some one on one ground ball and tackling with RCD.
Said it before.

You are a legend Caesar. Your weekly reports help 'anchor' the Richmond footy fix for me each week. thanks mate.

caesar any news from training?

Nank was spending a lot of time forward, Gibcus and Balta back.
I am thinking Gibcus, (shoulder is strapped), needs a spell in VFL his last 3 games have been poor.
Surprised how little Dusty did today, Lynch looking further along.
Soldo, Ross and Syd are back and look available for selection at whatever level they are chosen.
Soldo comes in to allow Nank to spend some time forward, (not sure that works it hasn't before).
Ross for Aarts should be a no brainer.
Not sure what small forward set up we go with, Baker didn't really work last week, need to crank up the pressure index regardless.

That's about it @AstuteTiger

I’m hoping that Stack comes in as the small forward, did he look fit and engaged Caesar?

Cumbo and Stack should do. Thanks Julius.

Stack wasn't even emergency before his fractured cheekbone so after missing 2 weeks highly unlikely to be selected.

As you asked, he didn't really standout at training.

Cheers

Did Cumbo train Caesar? And was Miller with the backs or forwards?

Thank you for replying to me, much appreciated. I think he was on the cusp of a recall when he got hurt so just hoping they trust hI’m and bring him in. One touch player that can play on instinct is what we need up forward but must commit to chasing and tackling

Absolutely agree re cranking up the pressure. Stack or MJ or both. Syd hasn't played for 3 weeks so maybe returns via ressies but junior i'd have in.
Marvel with its narrow flanks, junior no doubt can easily close down the space with his speed.
