Training For 2023

Have had internet issues all day 3 hours on the phone so report will be brief.

Got told Marlion will be back after Christmas.
I asked Lambo about Tylar Young, he said "Only been playing footy for 4 years, will work well with Truck, a Tarrant type with more speed" he was impressive today again.
I am going to say it, Cumbers is FLYING!
Junior showing a bit of spark today.
Now they are getting into more football oriented work Tom Brown is looking good with the proviso i said the same last year.
A lot more contested and scrimmage work today.
Nank all good and back in the fold.

Rehab:
Lynch not doing a real lot except for an hour of run-through's.
Tarranto who was absent last Thursday and in rehab today but was doing a lot of running.

PRE regulars will notice that there is the lack of my usual Shai love and that is because he hasn't been there :( , (absence makes the heart grow fonder I guess).

That's it, all i can remember, this morning was so long ago.

Cheers
Magnificent Caesar

Taranto already in rehab good surely that isn’t a great sign hope the recruiters know what they’re in for

Might be a tad early to push the panic button I would of thought ??

Social media looked like they did a heavy running session on Saturday or Sunday, hill sprints etc....

He may well have just been a bit fatigued.
Professor, without knowing precisely what the danger is, would you say it's time for our viewers to crack each other's heads open and feast on the goo inside?

And i did say Tarranto was doing a lot of running in the rehab session, he also strarted day one with the 1-4 year players so ahead of the 2nd December returnee's as was Nank.
I reported Nank had one session in recovery and was back to the main next session.
All i am doing is reporting on what i see each session, (and no doubt there would be a few on varying programs), and there still is Covid which could be the cause of a missed session here or there.
No need to jump at shadows unless they extend their stay beyond a week or so.

Which brings me to Big Tom, yet to join the main group so I would be interested know his status.

14 weeks before the season starts guys

Taranto has a massive tank and really wouldnt effect him much if he is out for 3-4 weeks or even until the new year
im sure its all minor and nothing to worry about

Really interested in how Brown, Clarke and Banks go next season.

I like all of our 2021 draftees and keep on telling myself the odds are strongly against us getting 5 good players. (Gibcus and Sonsie are locks)

Who's running our preseason??

Can't be a good sign when a fitness fanatic like Tarranto pulls up 2 weeks in. Hopefully it's just part of the program.

Where's Grimes?

If all 5 become regular senior players, we have nailed it.
We've probably still won the draft if only 3 of them make it.

Luke Meehan, who has been at the club for 10 years, and we have a new strength and conditioning coach from the saints

The new physical performance manager Luke Meehan provided an update Thursday on the status of our injured/recently recovered players and neither Big Tom nor Taranto were mentioned. Fingers crossed the big fella joins main training in the new year and Taranto is alright as well. You said he didn’t train Thursday and that injury update came out Thursday evening so mustn’t be anything to worry about hopefully
