Training For 2023

Yes to Cotch
hey Caesar, not sure if he is doing much but i'm pretty sure i saw someone on here (or twitter) say that Tarrant is training forward? have you seen much of Tarrant? i know he is still listed as indefinite on the injury list but meehan has said he has been doing some level of training.

Trained as a back last Thursday. Did do most of the session including match play and all contact drills that I watched. I was there for 70 mins of what @caesar and I assumed would be a 90 minute session.

Yeah, I was curious about that. Tom Brown trained fully as well. Didn't play last Saturday but now planned for this week. My take is that they're being very conservative in what they release/report on the injury list and then when players train and are OK they go to available.

Daniel Rioli left ground during warm up today, came out 10 minutes later and joined rehab, looked a bit ginger, physio was pressing areas in his lower back, he looked stiff when bending down to do up his shoe laces.
Started at barely a jog and worked up a bit not to sprint level, finished with a couple of running laps

Tom Brown: Really looking forward to Tom's return, reckon he will be a new man, looks a lot fitter.

Tigga: Repeating above he was not out there.

Dusty: Very animated and engaged.

A new Drill: Called the 'Bolton Blitz'

Thought i was reliving a nightmare: Mansell had a set shot from exactly the same position as Dreamtime, albeit on PRO not the G, and no shitting you, 'out on the full'. He was doing a ton of goal kicking practice so he is trying.

Tom Lynch: At least i spotted him without his moonboot on ;)

Thanks Caesar.

Agree on Brown. Really wanting to see what he can do for the rest of this season.

I reckon Young is named in the 26 this week as cover for Vlastuin, judging by him not being there I can see Vlastuin out of Sundays game.

I love the idea of the "Bolton Blitz". Was Samson involved in that one? Those 2 seems to have really good connection at stoppages.

The Bolton Blitz which is new was an intense 10 minute drill played width wise, (wing to wing), and narrowed field, (boundary not beyond the 50 metre square), for those old campaigners think the traditional half time little league games. A lot of body's in tight looking for exit strategies and quick hands. As it turned out drill aptly named, best passage was triple baulk, shrug of the hips by Shai that left Bake's sprawled on the ground thinking i thought i had him, i thought i had him :).
