Trade Week Prediction Competition

The more this talk goes on, is Mitch the one we are chasing, on face value he is a bigger fish than Dangerield ya 'd think.

If the Tigers indeed are after Mitch then would they want Maric also.

These 2 would be a massive change to the Tigers structure especially with TV in the side.

Maybe they are content to use TV as a Forward and let him build up and develop until Maric has finished up who knows.

Wouldnt come cheap MItch likely cost us our first ya'd think.

Gonna be a crazy trade week this year, in fact theres no doubt its already started under the table.
Agree with that!

Would you be happy to get Mitch at the right place Craig? Would give us a lot of flexibility and firepower IMO, assuming as you say that we also acquire Maric. BUT, we must also strengthen our midfield.

I loved the days of Nathan Brown, Kane Johnson & to a lesser extent Polak coming to us.
I hope we do get one of Mitch Clark or Dangerfield!
Deep down everyone wants to sing our song!

That's true. Even the Eagles song is cringeworthy. The players must hate having to sing that *smile* on live telly.

I predict we will offer up Farmer and McGuane and a couple of others and will get no interest and will manage no trades at all.

The only reason I think we will get a top liner, is that Hardwick is going into his 3 Rd season and he knows that I'd we don't improve the tribe will start to make noise and then he will have worms like barrott jumping on the bandwagon of bagging the club.
I believe we are 3 top recruits from pushing into the 8.
A ruckman, a tall defender & extra midfielder.
Morton, Edwards, jackson and Conners could be and should be used to at least get 2 at the club next year.

Farmer for a half sucked twistie and *smile* for a McFlurry

Robert Murphy for Brett Deledio.

On some of the comments I've seen here, we win this trade.

The internet will swing wildly from unrealistic trades rumors, paranoid fantasies about the RFC stuffing everything up and outrage when the club doesn't delist 15 players.

Whatever happens will be an anti-climax after all the speculation.

Mc Flurry might be asking too much for the McPencil maybe just a plain Vanilla Sundae is all we'd get

Billy Barrott would never bag the club .

No obvious targets like houli from last year, so I'm not expecting any freebees

Happy to trade any of Morton, Connors, foley, Jackson, tuck, Edwards, white for the right deal. I predict a typical one for one for one or two of these.

Please no trading any of our top 3 draft picks, RFC.

No interest in Graham, Browne, webberley, nason, farmer, Taylor and they will either stay or be delisted depending on contract status.

Watch for us to grab someone of note in the psd with our salary cap gap available. That will depend on how much RFC think they need to keep deledio beyond next year, me thinks a million a year.

I predict that none of the duds i want traded will be.

I also predict minimal trading and delisting form the RFC Camerons resigned just about every player up and most apart from our top 8 - 10 no real value.

Id like to see Edwards, McGuane and Jackson traded.

Hopefully the club has lots of contracts expiring next season and fair dinkum list management will finally be undertaken at end of next season with the superdraft.

One thing is for certain it will be Tanking central again for the also rans after round 16 next year.......... that you can guarantee when GWS and GC dont have the draft by the balls.

Craig wins!!
:star :star :star

I'd be bloody suprised if we let Edwards go quite frankly. Dimma has put a lot into him.

Right now, the only guys I think are definately going (trade or otherwise) are Morton and McGuane.

With no players traded - you think we'll leave Trade Week early then? ;D

spot on wouldnt surprise me if they all went you could add mcgaune nason white gourdis to that list have a feeling though we also might have to give up player like foley to

Saints salary cap problem will help this.

Goddard and Dal Santo might look elsewhere.

Parrott mentioned Farren Ray is available.........hopefully not for us.
