Thought for a bit of fun we could have a competition to see who could predict the Tigers trade week. Everyone gets one post in the thread that can be updated all the way up till trade week starts. At the end of trade week u can bump your post and gloat as much as you want or be as devastated as ever. ;D

My predictions:

Maric & 3rd rounder for 2nd round pick.
Morton to GWS for pre-listed player Luke Brown.
 
My prediction is lots of wailing, moaning and dud-delist comentary, quickly followed by "CC should be sacked", "FJ is an utter tool", "what were they thinking" and "we'll be stuck in the bottom half for ever".

Then, come round 1 next year, we'll have lots of "we've uncovered a gem here" and "gee that trade was a steal".

This is a very recent phenomenon. It used to be "gee they all have X factor".
 
I predict that none of the duds i want traded will be.

I also predict minimal trading and delisting form the RFC Camerons resigned just about every player up and most apart from our top 8 - 10 no real value.

Id like to see Edwards, McGuane and Jackson traded.

Hopefully the club has lots of contracts expiring next season and fair dinkum list management will finally be undertaken at end of next season with the superdraft.

One thing is for certain it will be Tanking central again for the also rans after round 16 next year.......... that you can guarantee when GWS and GC dont have the draft by the balls.
 
In: Nicholls, Hampson and Dangerfield
Out: Jackson, Edwards, 1st pick and third rounder
 
Firstly - GWS announce they sign uncontracted Foley - an end of round 1 compo pick in return

Nason and Edwards to Adelaide - Maric and 2nd round pick.

Morton to Melbourne - end of round 1 compo pick (Scully)

2 x End round 1 compo picks to Adelaide - Dangerfield

Graham to Port - 2nd round pick

McGuane to GC - 2nd round pick

This will raise some eyebrows but I'm just having some fun.
 
If you can organise Graham and *smile* for second rounders i can get you a gig selling fridges to eskimos Sillz.

Nice pipedream son, id be ecstatic if we got rid of those 2 spuds for 2nd rounders, actually id be ecstatic if we got rid of em period.
 
You were on fire until you traded away those 2 compo picks. ;D

Foley's contracted for next year too isn't he?
 
Ok here goes,

Nason str8 swap for Maric.
McGuane swap for Nicholls GCS + 2nd rounder
Morton traded to GWS for 2nd rounder
Connors traded to GWS for 3rd rounder
Compo pick + GWS 2nd rounder to Hawthorn for Roughead

Apparently we are into Mitch Clarke big time , as just read on BF. Freo and the weagles already have there no1+ 2 rucks they don,t want another yhat wants the no1 ruck duties, if so i say go get him Dimma
 
The more this talk goes on, is Mitch the one we are chasing, on face value he is a bigger fish than Dangerield ya 'd think.

If the Tigers indeed are after Mitch then would they want Maric also.

These 2 would be a massive change to the Tigers structure especially with TV in the side.

Maybe they are content to use TV as a Forward and let him build up and develop until Maric has finished up who knows.

Wouldnt come cheap MItch likely cost us our first ya'd think.

Gonna be a crazy trade week this year, in fact theres no doubt its already started under the table.

I loved the days of Nathan Brown, Kane Johnson & to a lesser extent Polak coming to us.
I hope we do get one of Mitch Clark or Dangerfield!
