Even if they do use pick 3 in 2 years time he is out.Gold coast only have pick 3 now. They'll need some points for their academy lad.
Please give details of which trades haven’t worked out, and what you would have done differently.Whilst we have had some wins over the journey, trading is clearly not our strength unfortunately.
Yep spot on. Everyone is lining up for their #TigerfreebieStill a bit to go in this trade period but I wonder if our Mr nice guy approach when helping Butler Lloyd etc get to their club of choice by giving them away for peanuts will come back to bite us cause when we might want something ourselves now & no one wants to play with us in return.

Don't you need to take 3 ND picks including rookie upgrades though?'The AFL commission has granted the Suns their vital concession to retain the ability to pre-list academy players outside of the draft.'
Basically GCS can pre-list 3 Academy players straight on to the Rookie list before the draft and not even need to go to the draft if they want.
Probably thinking use pick 3 and take 2 Academy players. Maybe Pick 3 is in play also.
The Academy picks must count as ND picks for GCS even though they are pre-listed. I think they also can put them straight on to the rookie list (not 100% sure this year).Don't you need to take 3 ND picks including rookie upgrades though?

Frenchy no one wants to play with us because they fear us. If no one wants to play with us I'm staggered to understand how we have 6 picks in the first three rounds.Frenchy no one wants to play with us because they fear us. In the eyes of the competition we are a terrifying proposition when up and about!

This thread is just like Trade Radio - nothing to talk about so have to talk *smile* for 10hrs straight
Agree on keeping our picks in the 20s. Ideally we get more.If no one wants to play with us I'm staggered to understand how we have 6 picks in the first three rounds.
Seriously lots of assumptions in this and other threads based on absolutely no inside knowledge.
And personally in a draft where players between 5 and 30 are meant to be even I think I'd prefer 26 AND 28 compared to just 17.
