Tickets to round 1

Row Z is just under thr roofline on level 1. Great view.

If it rains you are 99.9% likely not to get wet. Undercover starts from AA after row Z and so on BB, CC, DD etc

What about the other 5 tickets that you were getting? did you still get them for your group?

Thanks all the anxiety got the better of me.

Not sure after being timed out it was a free for all and everyone went their own way to secure a ticket, last I heard my mate was struggling to get 3 tickets together for his family.

Yes, for each phone number box I put my number for all tickets. You need every angle to save time.
I'm not sure it's just for covid. I put my son's phone number in for his ticket and they will send it to his phone. Saves having to share out tickets from your Ticketek account.

I’m currently in the Ticketek queue. Does anyone know if standing room is available?

I guess you're right but regardless when getting 9 tickets it takes to long to input everyone's names and numbers when the time is ticking down.
If you're only getting 1-3 tickets then that's fine inputting everyone's details.

So I just forward on the tickets to the others well 4 of the tkts are mine, my wife and kids and the others are family/friends, so no biggy forwarding it on to them.

Prime seats are still available on level 1, I just did a fake buy right now and then cancelled tickets. Let them know if they haven't secured tkts as yet.
These seats are near you, one bay up.

If I know what I have to provide, I type it all up in Notepad before I log in and copy and paste from the open Notepad file.

On google chrome and edge browsers I just left-click and all my info is there so its very quick to input all the details.

But I didn't get through straight away on those browsers, I got thorough first on OPERA and I can't left click for my info to appear so had to quickly copy and paste the info.
But that's still quick to do and had the transaction over and done within mins.

You would think that a company that provides a service to a large corporation would have a delivery platform that worked 100% of the time.
You would think that a large corporation that utilised a company to provide a platform to deliver their service would ensure that it worked 100% of the time.

And then you have the AFL, Ticketek, and Ticketmaster. What an unholy trinity. If the service consisted of rolling up to a window and handing over a ten dollar note to gain access to the ground, these muppets would get it wrong. So many failures.

i know i say this every year, but i do think 11 game members should get priority over non-members for away games. I’m not asking for a discount in tickets, just priority access.

Aah, I well remember a few years back. Went to get tickets in the member pre-sale for Round 1 and my barcodes didn't work. Rang the club and they gave me temporary barcodes to get tickets.

Fast forward to 2022 and what do we find? Exactly the same problem, not a related problem, not a slightly different problem, oh no, they managed to f*ck it in exactly the same way yet again.

It seems the Roaming Tiger barcodes were not working for the Carlton v Richmond game (worked fine for the home games) at least for home and away members. Rang the club, this time they mentioned Einstein (screw something up twice and you are clearly an idiot) and then said they had literally just managed to get the morons at Ticketek to fix the mess. They really are well beyond incompetent. The Club are clearly sick of having to field thousands of calls every year as Ticketek and the other mob constantly show how incompetent they are at selling tickets.

Tommy's Tigers, I am well past the point where I think these mobs can get anything to work 10% of the time, you are way more optimistic than I am.

Must be can do capitalism!

I note for the carlton game at the G, a home and away member can get a general admission entry 'upgrade' for $0, basically standing room, however for the round 3 game against the Saints at the Dome, it doesn't appear as though you can lock in a general admin standing ticket, I have to book and pay for a seat, even if I want to stand.

Does anyone know if this is correct and I cant get a standing room spot at the Dome in advance for $0?

I usually am a worrier in that I’ll miss out if I don’t get in early. I was flat out at work today so missed the 2pm start time. I got home and logged in around 5.30, thinking that there’ll be just crap left. As a home & away member also wanting an extra 2 tickets for home members, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Surprisingly easy this time. Showed seats for an area I don’t like, then saw a map where you can change seats. Very surprised. Got 3 seats close to where we normally sat before covid. Really happy with them. Hope it stays for the year. The only issue was with sending the other 2 tickets via mobile. The same issue there

Why not use the membership card to scan in at the ground "I hear you can request a physical card" or the digital card with barcode that the AFL and clubs are going to send out in the next week to scan in at the turnstiles.

For Marvel, I'm sure you can just scan in and then stand where you want. It's not like the G where they have standing sections, at marvel people just stand behind the steel barriers i.e behind the last row of seats.

I haven't heard that you can't stand again at Marvel, I guess best to clarify with Marvel on (03) 8625 7700 or the AFL (03) 9643 1999
