Thoroughbred racing

Pinstriped doesn’t read the papers or look at the bookie boards. Always Good to see a battler trainer and jockey score a G1.
Another Wil was very impressive winning the last. Has come back well from last prep, one to follow with confidence.

Some handy nags going round in the Moir at the Valley on Saturday. Will be interesting to see how last years Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper winners race as 3 year olds.

They look pitched in at the weights, but as you say until they actually race you never know how they will come back.

Probably been on a thousand times but a great show on the racing channel of the 92 Cox plate , arguably the greatest race of all time
I was there. It was an incredible race. This was over 30 years but the 14 horses had a combined stakes tally of over $28m. 30 years ago!

It was an unbelievable field and I was a massive fan of Super Impose so very happy to take the 20-1 on offer! Great race and a great day.

Was out watching local footy GF today so missed most of the races. Just watched the replay of the Moir. Massive boilover. Couldn’t see Mornington Glory going to that level to beat that field. But there you go; led all the way so no excuses for the beaten brigade.

The Diamond and Slipper winning fillies did very well especially Hayasugi. Estriella probably a bit disappointing. I Wish I Win another massive run. Not screwed down and 1000m clearly too short for him. 1200m of Manikato more suitable but he will be cherry ripe for the Everest.

Great racing tomorrow folks? What we all like?

Leysy's little mare he has a share in (Shalook) runs in Race 1 at Rosehill tomorrow. Given us a great ride. $30K purchase price and won 5 races (including last start) and $133K.

Up in class, but for a $120K city race it's not strong and she's in career best form. Unfortunately drew wide which is very tough in the Rosehill 1200m chute start.

Fingers cross Blake Spriggs can give her a peach and she can be in the finish. Currently around $18.

The horrendous weather notwithstanding; awesome day at Flemington today. Winners galore even if most of them were in Sydney.

Sunshine in Paris is a star and Ostraka a rising star; outstanding win. Neasham and Archibald ((Neachibald) have a couple of rippers there.

Our group also got the quaddie at Flemington. Good day.

Outstanding win by Another Wil today. Blake Shinn nearly put Jamie Kah and Another Wil through the running rail but he picked up and still bolted in on worst part of the track. Very good horse.

Saw a new star of the turf in Sydney today. Autumn Glow is outstanding.

Where’s @Leysy Days and his traditional spring tips????

Time to come out of hibernation sir!!

Ha! Cheers Mopsy!!

Have been holidaying in Bali and otherwise caught up with family/work too much to dedicate the time to do the form.

Redford's been PM'ing me for weeks requesting it, so let's kick off getting serious for Caulfield Guineas meet next Saturday.
