Spewing at Shin’s ride though. How do you go from widest on the turn, decide to make your run from 400 up the middle, then decide you better go back to wide because you can’t push through. Butchered Cascadian off the turn.
Shinn hasn't had a great day, he lost the first on protest with his Spacewalk down the straight.
I owe Graeme Begg a beer. Heard him on the radio this morning, when asked what his best chance at Flemington was he said C'est Magique. I had an each way bet, it ran 2nd and paid $10.60

Whoever produces Sky 1 Raceday on Saturdays deserves a bit of credit for playing The Smiths in between races. Not that I particularly like The Smiths, but at least he/she has an artistic, non commercial, non bland eye.

Decent day. Baller at $23.50 yeah! Also had a couple of each way collects especially Yearning at $8! Unfortunately was out earlier and forgot about Great House in the second at Flemington. $7 the place!!
Thought I’m Thunderstruck would probably win but too short. It was a great race and Alligator Blood was a top run as well. Backed Mo’unga each way and it was a nice run for 3rd. But he’s probably off the top horses. Hard to see him beating I’m Thunderstruck, Mr. Brightside etc.
