Just got too far back then didn’t pull it wide. Not sure what he was trying to do. Bons a Pearla came from last and nearly won so not like you couldn’t make ground out wide.

The horse had its head turned at right angles looking at the car park from about the 400 to the 200. He couldn’t steer it. He was too far back anyway. Horse settled when it got out from the arse of everything and ran on but it was too late.

Should have brought him wide and given him clear running in the straight. Would have made it interesting. Anyway the winner is pretty special to win first up in a stallion making Group 1 mile first up after winning a Derby.
