The Theo Marks Stakes looks like being a cracking race today, the favourite for the Everest, Trapeze Artist looks the winner, D'Argento's a mile and a half horse for mine, is second up and coming back in distance, if he can beat Trapeze Artist he's every bit as good as i think he is, Trifecta 1, 2-4, 2-4.

Whilst we are mentioning super horses like Kementari, Kings Will Dream etc. Urban Ruler to run at the Sunshine Coast today - his first run under new trainer Chris Munce. Apparently has settled in well but I will not be investing. Much better things to do with my $ - like registering in the GF ballot for tickets.

After Urban Ruler's "massive" third at the Sunshine Coast Wednesday looking to some good ones go around tomorrow. Like a couple at a bit of value so definitely each way and looking for luck

Melbourne Race 2 - 6 Sweet Rockette - impressive last start when worked hard and still finished off, each way around $10 - $12
Randwick Race 5 - 4 Tom Melbourne - I know he is a bit of a non winner but this may be his turn - $7.50 each way is a bet to nothing imo.
Morphettville Race 8 - 1 Ready Sunshine - currently $41 on TAB (they have a special odds boost feature on all races Melb, Syd, Bris and Adel on Friday afternoons, worth having a look at) this horse ran in an Oakleigh Plate admittedly in 2017 but this is a Benchmark 70 and only carries 59kg after the claim. Well drawn to get a run behind the pace and with a little luck is worth a dollar each way to find out.
