Backed Impending all in a few weeks ago.
So today have taken an Exacata, Redzel to win Impending to run second.

Edit

Then a trifecta Redzel, In Her time to run second with Impending to run third.

wouldnt the quinella make more sense Tman?

then your saver adds passionfruit icing if things go as expected, and saves you if they dont.

Yeah probably would easy, i'm just mug punter. My reasoning was that i'd backed Impending on the nose a month ago hoping that Redzel wouldn't run, when they did run him i thought i'd cover my bases with an exacta because it would pay more than a quinella.

Sorry folks but am overseas (Spain & Portugal, poor me) at the moment - did notice both I’m Buxom and Urban Ruler were less than average on the weekend. Hopefully not too many fingers got burnt. Track wasn;t great but their efforts left a bit to be desired.

I’m Buxom off to the paddock, Urban (apparently) wasn’t fit enough - thanks for telling me that after the race!!!

Both The Ceremony and Queen Leonora in at Sale today so hopefully a better result but expect QL to be short and The Ceremony didn’t like shifting track on her debut so not sure how the track will be. Had a week of 23, 24 degrees in Madrid but not sure that will help the track at Sale (lol).

Annoyingly cant use either my Sportsbet or TAB account from Spain so that is also saving me lots.

Great to wake up Sunday morning to hear of a victory over Norf on the weekend.

Go Tigers!

A very good return to race riding by James McDonald after his enforced holiday. He rode two winners a second and a third. A very talented hoop who I backed today and will continue to follow.

Agree.

Keep your eye out for Shoals unraced full sister Tides in Brisbane in a 2 year old race in the next few weeks. Also Lee Freedman paid $2.3 million for her full brother at the recent Inglis Easter yearling sales.

For the PREUnco's we are having a dip at the ever improving and ready-to-peak-today Rising Red - Doomben Race 4 No. 6.

I never seem to get this strategy right but we'll take the $5 fixed so it will probably run at $10 on the tote.

bummer, respectable, but we can't buy a win. winner paid $160 up here!

who's up?

When's my go?

you missed a turn while you were searching for mushies in a mullumbimby cow paddock at Easter.

Thats why you dont have a $0. Technically, you are leading the PRE Unco punter of the year club ;D

feel free to punt $10 anytime as a catch up.

Well, let's dream big for the man on the street, with a poetic name at a nice price.

Andrew Noblet and Ben Melham take A Mist Opportunity to Adelaide on Saturday after a first-up win at the 'rat and a run-on 3rd at Flemington against the tempo and the boys. Against her own sex, 3rd-up, good draw, should settle within striking distance and is a fast finisher. Morphettville, R6, N12, $35/$9.50 on Sportsbet. $5 e/w.

Nice punt at those odds Spook.

Denmagic is top weight in a restricted quality, the last at doomben, on Saturday. Drawn poorly and Corey Brown will need to be brave. An option for Pete the Place Punter.

She’s off to the MM Broodmare sale next month as the best credentialed Class 2 mare.

Oh so close, but we did enjoy The Myer on VRC Derby Day and Slipper Day that year as well.

Good luck Bernie, the dreaded visitors draw.
She was only a length of being a really really good horse.

I like Abbey Marie in the Doomben Cup, it's been a while between drinks, and she owes me big time. Like Bernie's Denmagic it's her last start, here's hoping they both get up.
