So gut wrenching that Rapper Dragon broke down in Honkers. A magnificent beast who made watching races worth while.

he was a helluva horse.

speaking of helluva horses, I get a G1 to have punt this weekend. Doomben 10,000.

Russian Revolution is a helluva horse.

Not the strongest group 1 field easy, WFA will be the test.

I like Music Magnate and Counterattack, quinella and multi's with a couple of old favourites at Caulfield, Wazzenme and Highland Beat. I've included them all in some footy multis as well.

Good luck today.

Good to see some self-assessment and reflection ET

Russian Revolution ran his race behind the barrier stalls. I threw my ticket away before they jumped (in an ashtray where i could keep an eye on it :hihi).

Just taken the $41 on Faatinah to win the Goodwood, ran a slashing 4th for the magic man Moreira last start. Not sure if he's up to the grade or not.
Redzel ran 2nd in the race and franked the form by winning the group 1 Doomben 10000 at his next start.

Each way all day.

Yes, I couldn't resist those odds, even though his form is inconsistent.
I don't know if you saw his last start, he was charging home like Bernborough.

Thanks for that DF, i'll have to get myself checked out for dyslexia :-[

Still agree Faatinah is over the odds on its run in the Oakleigh Plate and again last start.

Not sure if the G3 Adelaide form is the strongest form line going into the Goodwood though, although I hope it is.

No i don't think it is a good form line either.
He's got form around Our Boy Malachi, and Lankan Rupee, he ran second behind Malachi with Rupee third, as well as his Oakleigh Plate run.
He ran a good race in the Goodwood last year, 5th after being 4 wide for a big part of it.

I've had a each way bet on Kaepernick at $31, it's got form around Spieth and Takedown and meets Faatinah 3.5 kilos better in the weights on their Oakleigh plate run.

Took a little time to take a look at the Goodwood form today.

Bart looks a class above to me, even with 59kg.

But I reckon Fattinaah is exceptional value the place at 10's.

however, I avoid place betting in capacity fields.

I reckon I'll back Bart if he gets to $4.

Hows Preferment's sharp decline? Oaks, Turnbull, Aust Cup, BMW,

then last in an ordinary 5 horse field after having it all his own way?

Gets a sweet gig eating lucerne and rooting mares now.

Got a runner named O'driscoll running in the 2nd at Bathurst tomorrow. It's not without a chance... as it's Bathurst on a Tuesday!
