Monster day. Quite possibly the most certain, and the most I have ever had, on a horse. Pocketed about a months pay and then spent about 2 days pay shouting my friends cocktails and canapes at a flash joint.

I think i'll have a spell until spring.

That's good puntin'. Well done.

Bring Me The Maid is having a final run this time in on Saturday week in a $500K race for fillies after her 3rd in the Slipper. Perhaps if the rider had followed the winner through on the inside...

Change of plans, going to the paddock and will target the Thousand Guineas in the spring.

RT seems to be AWOL so I'll punt for the club today

Gypsy Diamond $10 win (Queen of the Turf)

ALL UP

The Offer (sydney cup)

Sorry TG - just got back from holidaying up at Hervey Bay last night - dropped into Brisbane on the way home to take the family to the Tigers v Lions game at the Gabba on Thursday night - it was one of my birthday presents to my now 11yo son - thank God the Tigers got up.

Mate I like a 2yo in the 3rd at Randwick today - so if its OK with you I'm having 5x5 on Queen of Kariba for the punters club as well as your punt above?

With Tommy Berry on board and trained by NZ Trainer John Sargent it has a great each way chance - good strong win by 4l at Wyong at its only start suggests it will make the grade in the "Big Smoke"

good onya RT. weve got 3 horses running for the punters club todat

Queen of Kariba
Gypsy Diamond, and
The Offer.

If my all upper on the last two gets up, I will seek advice on plonking half on Its a Dundeel in the stakes.

My big bet of the day is on Red Tracer in the Queen of the Turf (got $4.70 on Betfair), with savers on Gypsy Diamond and Solicit. I had a go at Voleuse de Cours in the Sydney Cup a couple of days ago at 11s, with a bit on The Offer and little specs on Tupac Amaru and Brigantin.

sounds like some scientific punting spook. all the best. I'm focussing my attention on quality and wet form.

Geez the owners missed a golden opportunity to name this filly RT. By Lohnro out of Acupuncture. How TF to you get queen of kariba?

I would have called her 'Death,Taxes and Needles'

It's a Slow 7 and will improve to a Slow 6 in the sun, according to Ollie just now.

Maybe a chopped up slow? rails out 6m, which was pretty much where they were running last Saturday. Good luck spooky.

My birthday today. Tigersnake is down on the farm. weve got a box of beer and a coupla hundred bucks in the phone account.

Our punting day starts with Death, Taxes and Needles. RT's tip in the 3rd at RR.

Happy birthday, gol.

You can currently get $14 (Betfair, $13 Sportsbet) on Boban in the QE. I know he's a miler but that's well overs. Thinking about it... Carlton House is value in the market compared to Dundeel as well.

In group races, I ignore odds entirely and try to back the classiest and fastest horse. I reckon Its a Dundeel fits this bill, but we'll see. unambiguously.

I always look for value, but there are many ways to skin a bookie. I haven't had a bet on this race yet, will see if a racing pattern emerges.

Good punting everyone, I like Zanbagh and It's A Dundeel today. Being the mug punter I am I've gone Clifton Red with them, all up win and place.

Great day for you, gol (and Jimmy Mac). The Get Out Stakes saved me (along with the nibble on The Offer), taking 11s on Cosmic Endeavour this morning to ensure I finished the day marginally:

helluva birfdy spook. me and snake plonked the balance on dundeel in the stakes. shat ourselves when it backflipped in its stall and then danced a jig like noone was watching when it won. the snake came to the fore. said "I like the lightening thing in the last". by this time we were pretty full and I said ":i dunno snake, im the brains in this operation, how about we plonk itthe place?" snake said "yep". it ran second @ $4 fixed the place.

We are waiting for the taxi, who we rang and said "go to Brunswick fish coop and get 6 lobsters, 3 kg local green prawns and 3 doz oysters"

:partyfest

this time im really retiring until melbourbe spring.
