Thomson Dow

When we drafted him I knew nothing about him but was slightly disappointed as his brother can’t kick for *smile*. From what I’ve seen since he’s a very different player to his brother, and once I saw how good his hands were I was sold.

Good luck to him tomorrow night.

Well done son.
Not sure what Dimma normally says to debutants but he sounded genuinely enthusiastic about Dow’s abilities.

Rapt. Wasn’t expecting a debut by either Dow or RCD but just rapt as I said that they want to have a look at this kid.
Was expected RCD before Dow but Dimma obviously likes what he has sees.

To me this is saying there may be massive ‘doubts’ on Prestia.
Edwards not far away so have a look at this kid.

What an initiation.

Dimma has given young Dow a big rap, said he reminds us a bit of Shane Edwards.

Good luck to the kid. Thought maybe the Suns or Bummers game, but we like to throw our cubs in the deep end for a baptism of fire it seems. (Love a blended adage)

I am sure I commented early on, based on recruiting or early practice match vids, reminded me of Edwards with his speed and good hands. Here's hoping this is the start of a similar stellar career or roundabouts.

BTW, who is the player in the Castagna Steel hoodie that Thomson hugs after chatting with Dave (who was on the table)? Was it Garthy, Dylan or someone else?
 
Thomson has reached his dream by playing his first game of ALF footy on Thursday. Looking forward to watching the first of many games with him in Tigers colours

Thought it looked like Caddy but might have been wrong, it was quite quick (and I've only seen it once).
