The six must keepers for you

Rance isn't a keeper yet. Not for me.

Deledio, Riewoldt, Cotchin, Martin and Vickery.

Agree, as much as I loved Rance's year, thats what it was, ONE great year. He needs to string a few more years together to be a guy you build your footy club around.

I'm no Rance hater, I was one of the people that genuinely knew he could still make it, but sometimes you just need to try to not get too carried away.

Someone else agrees with me on Lids as our number 1! ;D

rance is underrated

for a bit of perspective, he has it all over ben reid statistically and reid will be AA

very important player for us moving forward for us. structurally and what we've invested in him both time and draft position

He's underrated, yes. Especially by the media, I was a tad surprised he didn't quite squeeze into the 40 man squad TBH.

He may be very important player for us, but he has to follow up he amazing work this year with another great year next year to prove that.

which i have no doubt he will. the kid doesnt know how to be lazy. its just not in his make-up

A big key forward who is very good is worth more than a mid IMO.

1. Riewoldt
2. Martin
3. Lids
4. Cotchin
5. TV
6. Rance

When you come down to it, for the first time in a long time, we have more than six must keepers.

This indicates the growing list of 'A' grade players at the club.

Spot on. I noted his stats a few weeks ago and overall he was in front of Reid, Jamison, Rutten, Merrett. The feature of his play has been his support play. People need to realise he is becoming a very important player. Structurally he is a key player.

1. Cotchin
2. Martin
3. Riewoldt
4. Grimes
5. Deledio
6. Rance

(Houli just missed out)

Last spot still up for grabs. As good as Houli is, you should be able to produce those types through the draft.

I would have Grimes in that last spot today but by the end of next year Rance could own that spot if he produces another year like this.

1. Cotchin
2. Riewoldt
3. Martin
4. Deledio
5. Vickery
6. ???

We've got a clear top 5 and maybe up to half a dozen fighting it out for sixth spot and all have their best football in front of them. For balance that final spot should be a key defender in Rance, Grimes or maybe even Astbury in time.

I can't remember us having this many seriously talented players on our list and all around the same age. Good times ahead.

1. Chimp
2. Plasma
3. Bull
4. Lids
5. Jack
6. Rance / Grimes / Conca / Houli - It depends on who we pick up during this trade period and who kicks steps up.

You people not having Lids in the top 2 are kidding yourselves. I'm no slave to stats but in some cases they paint a perfect picture. If you scroll through Pro Stats you will see just 2 Tigers names constantly appearing amongst the leaders in many of the important catagories, that's Lids and Cotch. One and two, two and one, whichever way you have it these two are easily our biggest keepers.

Martin was a little inconsistent but his best is breathtaking so he gets 3.

A big key forward is critical for success, however we actually looked OK when Jack went down earlier in the season, so he drops to four for me.

Vickery is a no brainer for 5.

Rance or Houli at 6, Houli on this years form but I'm hoping Rance keeps his rapid improvement up and takes over next year.

1. Cotchin
2. Delidio
3. Martin
4. Riewoldt.
5. Vickery.
6. Houli

1. Jack
2. Cotch
3. Lids
4. Martin
5. Vickery
6. Griff

i chose Griff purely on the basis of structure. His progress means Vickery could spend more time around the ground as a mobile ruck option. He will also be the final piece of the forward triangle. in Vicks/Jack/Griff we have 3 straight shooting mobile talls to reek havoc on opposition backlines.
