Just a reminder that Rick Ladson will be a defender in my team, if you could make the changes accordingly that would be awesome.

Heres my thoughts.
When making the rule, it was meant in the spirit of if you were over the salary cap, or if you went over the position qouta and wouldn't be able to register on SC.
This only being the first time this Idea of a comp is being played by most of us. I thought that Salary Cap and Player Positions were very critical in making this game even get off the ground ( it has to be 100% accurate to enable us to continue on SC)
Sorry Maverick - But your delisting isn't because you have gone over the salary cap or position based.
As others have stated that is the spirit the rule was made. It was made to ensure we could adjust mistakes.
Season/long term injuries are the only other times delisting is allowed.
So in reply - Mav - your delisting doesn't count. To me it is against the spirit of the rule.
However I am happy to have the 3 day trade period at the end and of the Draft, however I want all teams finalised and on SC at minimum 1 week prior to Rd 1.
Please have patience and flexibility as this is a work in progress. I tried to think of all things that may have eventuated, but some things we need to work through.

It doesn't stop you doing what you want on SC now, in a whichever league they put you in now, as when the time comes, everyone will be able to just type in the league number I give.
In our game will we be able to trade for any player after the 1st game or only those players remaining in the draft pool?

Very important. Though you will have 20 trades available but can only trade in and out of the player pool balance (ie players left). Trades will have to occur through PRE first to "claim" the player so other can't use him.
The core goal is to ensure that a player is only used once - which is at odds a little bit with Supercoach - hence the use of PRE as an approval point. It's more challenging than regular Supercoach that's for sure, but still using Supercoach as the platform for all the crunch work!

When I joined the game I read the rules and that was the basis under which I was playing.
ie I read rule 12 and understood that you could delist a player and select two as a result.
I made a selection in haste last night, knowing that I would likely change it after reviewing it when I had time.
I can understand peoples views about how this rule my cause some hassle and may not be a great one.
But in summary your honor I shouldn't be penalised by playing by the rules!
My recommedation is change the rules now and everyone can play under that basis from this point on.

I too have had to make a at least two choice in haste - do i regret them - probably. i suspect we all have one. It's possibly an all or nothing situation Maverick. Will you cede for the good of the comp? I suspect you see the future complications (it's not like you've taken Kane Johnson thinking you were getting Brad Johnson, or any other Johnston or Johnstone for that matter :hihi )
