The Official "RFC Coaching Position" Discussion Thread

I actually feel sorry that Brad Scott cannot see through his job at Collingwood. If I were Hinkley, I'd want to see it through at Geelong.

No problem with him staying until their campaign ends.

Same, it also only gives him more big time game experience and insight.

Finals or not, I still think he would have plenty of time to study our list and chat to people over 4 weeks (which is the longest we are talking about) while he fulfills his duties at Geelong.

HUN website is reporting the story. According to Sportingbet he has come in from $3.50 to $2.40 in the last 24 hours.

Check out Ken Hinkley's speech on the website at this link. Wow!

Pretty inspiring stuff!

Me either. This way if they come up with any ground break strategy in the finals or the lead up we won't miss out.

Hinkley is one of the two to present to the board next week - if we take Bomber Thompson's comments about wanting Hinkley to continue with Cats if he gets the Tigers job.

The only other rumor is about Alan Richardson leaving Essendon.

So do we have the final two Hinkley & Richardson?

Not sure that any ground breaking strategies for use during finals would be of any use at Richmond.

Cutting cynicism as always jimbob. Well played.

Still, if he gets the job and stays on he becomes an embedded Tiger for a few weeks. It can't hurt.

A bit harsh! I can think of a number of value-adds that Hinkley could bring.

Postponing holidays until October

Coming to grips with the idea of training in the evening while its still light

Funny thing is when the club leaked like a sieve, everyone complained. Now it water tight we are complaining we can't get any drum......

I will be glad when we know who the coach is one way or the other.

the sun now reporting that Hardwick met Port again today, the 2nd time in 14 days.

its sounding like he may not be that confident because you would think he would wait until after our process or at least hawthorn season was over b4 sounding out an assitant/succession job?

Prefer the Tigers to be run like a "Tight Ship" any day to the "Loose Lips Sink Ships" version of the last 25 years.

With the odds dropping and hardwick shooting over to Port again, I am starting to believe Hinkley is our man.

So, we need a nickname for him.

I'll start the ball rolling with "Kinky"

Nothing wrong with covering your options but he needs to be very careful how he does that.

Hardwick may well turn out to be his own worst enemy.

Stinky would be more apt for a Tiger's coach
