Wendy's is still in SA. And we still have Sarsparilla too. What is wrong with you backward Victorians?

Rayzorwire, the massive defence of Gumpus was pure love.

Best defence since Johnny C took care of OJ.

Tarino with the 'bumpy' can (TAB era).
Those half sized cans.
Steel cans
Coke in glass bottles always tasted better than the bigger bottles made of plastic. Bottled in a different state I'm told.
When did redskins get flat and lose the paper wrapping?
1 and 2 cent lollies and the coins you could buy them with.
Duff beer..

has claw been "feedbacked"?

Re: Where's Claw

Maybe his missus grabbed him by the lughole and made him do the dishes or vac the carpet instead of playing in the darkside.

who cares.

Me for one.

Not afraid to put his veiw forward, and unlike some trolls just taking the *smile*, he reasoned fairly well what he was thinking.
He is right about the recruiting of the past (pre 2004) and although overly critical at times was right about players who aren't up to this level most of the time.

Claw was also one of the instigators along with CC Tiger in getting the rookie fund off the ground, and was a significant contributor.
I met the man himself when he came to Melbourne for a game and enjoyed a beer and his company too.
Most people who hated Claw did so because they can't stand a veiwpoint other than their own.
I hope he hasn't been Feedbacked, I'd miss him.

Sounds a bit like a eulogy Bubbles. :hihi
Maybe Cyclone George wrecked his internet access......
Don't worry claw will be back in action when the REAL games start.

Captain Blood from the Thoroughbred Horse Racing thread, some good tips, Ron Maund (trainer) for one.

I too have met Claw on a few occasions and though I don't always agree with what he sez, his heart is in the right place and he loves his beloved Tiges, he wants nothing more than to see the mistakes of the past stay in the past where they belong and work on the right path and win a flag, its hard over here seeing both teams having success, neither was around when the Tiges won their last flag, especially the West Coast who are never far from the finals, their professionalism in recruiting, their facilities, their use of the rookie draft, their attitude when behind, they always come back, they almost have a zero tolerance to losing, its frustrating when that gets rammed down your throat and you look at the Tiges and think, what the hell is going on, if it can be done here, why can't it be done over at Richmond! C'mon Claw, get back into it!
