TC did say goodbye ToO but that thread was deleted (as per someone's request). I didn't see any goodbye message from Cass though and only discovered he'd left because someone pm'd me about it.

And yes thanks for being transparent about it Rosy. Its all just such a terrible shame really and I hope that TC, Topaz and Cass do come back when the season kicks in and all will be forgiven. :hearton

I really don't see the sense of passing on what was said in pm's unless it's from the horses mouth and is the truth.  I could probably post some facts but it could make things worse.

Anybody can crack them and leave PRE for whatever reason, post count drops, threads merged, they don't like my posts or for any other reason but it doesn't say much for how much they value other PREnders company on the message board imo.

People who leave and then change their mind are more than welcome back here but I'm not going to cry into my fruity lexia if anyone decides personal gripes are more important than being part of the site. 

We all have our own priorities and I respect others decisions either way.

here i am....Luv your avatar...wanna swap?Geez...I HATE split rounds dont you?especially when the tippins gone pear-shaped.....gotta rely on the swannyuglyducklings to get up so I can get 4 for the fortnight...... :-\ah well.....there,s always me rawsons retreat cabernet,.... ;)

Where is Harry ? One of my favourite posters. Along with The Boss and that other guy.....what's his name...um...oh yeah... George Negus. That bloke as well. Always liked him too. (Very good in the General Section that guy. Knows a lot of general stuff.)

Thanx for the enquiry Lids. Graystar has not been around much lately, and I don't normally post unless I have something relevant to say.

After all, what can one say after that trip to Tassie. I just knew we would lose that game, and suspect Rosy was of like mind. Isn't it funny how our win against the Crows hardly ever gets a mention??

As for Sunday against the Mudpies....if we win that I will be very surprised indeed. Still, funnier things have happened. What I am looking forward to is the cocktail party on the 26th. of July. Thanks again for "missing " me.

Your prayers have been answered Michael. I mentioned your post to my old drinking mate and he replied that TB had contacted him only last week. He got permission for me to post extracts from Tom's email on PRE:

I do miss posting in PRE actually but actually now can’t believe how I ever did, I must have done absolutely no work…….

Oh and I’m still riding into work by the way, it has been quite a good summer thus far in the UK, high 20’s this week. London in the summer is a pretty good place to be, everyone is in a good mood which is a contrast from London in the winter. I spent 4 weeks in Spain from mid May, did an 800 km walk across the northern Spain to the west coast, it was a great experience. Am home in November for a wedding then back to London for a few more years, waiting for my girlfriend to do a few years teaching (she just became qualified) and then hopefully can come home for awhile that will be 5 or 6 years away – lomg time.

...Have been reading everything I can about the tigers all positive, importantly it sounds like our finance are almost back on track which is great, you would hope a few years of finals footy to come, I’d be on the first flight home if we are ever still there at the end of September....

No mention of lunches but good to know Old Tom is still out there somewheres.

I just had a read through this thread. We could have a 20 question quiz about the people mentioned, who asked for their acct to be deleted, who asked for a name change, who decided to start a new identity, who had a dummy spit and left, who left and joined in a few other names, who was really abusive, who uses someone elses account, who prefers to mention PRE posts and discuss them elsewhere rather than here, who reads but rarely posts, who was an opposition troll, who posts as TB elsewhere, who has a problem differentiating between male and female, who was forced to leave due to external reasons etc etc....the list goes on.

What a tangled web we weave.... ;)
