Swanny named Sidebottom in his rascal 22 Collingwood players. Suspect the "doesn't normally drink" excuse is total BS.
Dunno why Eddie just doesn't admit the fault, cop the suspension without whinging and allow it to blow over a lot quicker, ATM he looks and sounds like an abolute buffoon. Geelong would be watching on with interest too i would think.

So, Sidebottom finally gets pinged for going too far. I've been waiting for that call for years.

Why does Sidarse take an Uber with Dunn in breach of Covid rules, leave Howe's place alone presumably and "then travelled to former Magpies footballer and now staff member Daniel Wells' home in Williamstown"? Even though, "Wells is not among Collingwood's approved staff who can be in contact with the playing group."
So is Sidearse homeless or something? Then he ends being picked up by the cops and " transporting him home on Sunday morning in a heavily intoxicated state." Not to mention near naked. What on earth was he doing?

"To his credit, Steele considered what was in the best interests of the code and Collingwood," Magpies football boss Geoff Walsh said of a potential appeal.
"Firstly, he accepts that he made some poor decisions but he also feels it is the right thing to accept the punishment, a greater punishment than most believe is fair, to avoid a distraction that could create difficulties for the competition and his teammates.
"That's the sort of person Steele is."

Flicked around Foxtel earlier and caught blobbo ripping into Ed about the exact same thing and basically called him a hypocrite after what he said about Geelong and the Stevens incident. Will be interested to see how fat Ed takes it. Will do his usual attack job on any critic or anyone who dares call him out.
