I didn't care about him going either, but think about the angst when Cotchin and Martin were approached.
When it's one of ours, the story changes. Scarlett wants to be inbred, more power to him. I think their supporters will love him for it. Maybe he's taking the year off because Scott doesn't think much of his coaching abilities, so Scarlett's taking 12 months until the flog leaves.
If it destabilises their club, even better. I'm sure we can get another high calibre assistant without pollutants from Cat land.

Remember the mad Mondays?
One time came as KB with the Richmond jumper and shaved head to emulate the Comb-over.
I think another time just had a Richmond jumper on. Came as a loser.
When we were *smile*.
Another reason to enjoy our recent Finals domination against them.
He would have hated these losses as he used to make us look silly.
One of my great joys of the 3 flags was we played them 3 times and we destroyed them 3 times.
It's a thing of beauty.

I know we are all spitballing on the various internet forums, myself included.
From time to time, I read some of the other Club's forums - it's like Richmond fans, we seem to know our club and players best.;)
There's always some gold in the other Club's forums I think. As well as lots of rubbish.

Anyway... on the Geesook forums, many reckon Scarlett is a bit of a DH and not popular. They say he's a hothead and was never going to have an easy time with Shocking coming back. Apparently, Shocking and Scarlett clashed for years at Geesook.
When asked on 3aw before the prelim, Scarlett said he really didnt want to be a senior coach and wanted to be a Geelong person.

Reckon it might get awkward if Shocking is keen to replace him - as it seems. He may have to hope Cooky gives him a role at Carlton, even if he wanted to stay as a Geelong person.

Except he should have stayed and seen his career out up there as was the initial idea
That was p-weak coming back “home” on big money

Geelong Police are investigating a complaint by Geelong football club they have been slapped by the Richmond Football club

Shocking completed rooted the AFL and is now going to do the same to Geesook. Its a beautiful thing.

I thought Silivagni was the biggest Doofus in football but Scarlett is triple Doofus..

had a long chat with a Cats fan last night (yeah I feel dirty )
he's all doom and gloom , reckon the 3 departures hint there is something a bit stinky at Kitty Litter park

they'll slide to the bottom , Salt will walk and they'll start their rebuild

He didn't like it when I said , They'll win enough to stay out of the bottom 4
and they have to wait for mass injuries/retirements and at the end of the next season they'll get to high picks and that could be 2-3 years away
 
The HUN saying that Salty likely to sign a contract extension beyond 2022.

The cats will slide but with the massive leg up they get from playing so many games at kardinia Park and that they have enough elderly quality to put out a decent side I think they will still win enough games to be in the 6-10 range on the ladder.

Perhaps 7th to 12th? Right in the middle of no mans land, failing to achieve success while never receiving premium quality from the draft. Who knows' they might even achieve ninthlold.
