The Geelong Cants

Oliver is minimum 2 first round picks and Bailey-Sniff is at least one and an early second at absolute worst.

Where are the Cats getting those from?
If they've got half a brain, Dees will be more than happy to get the Clarry child minding circus n salary off the books for whatever return they can get.
Bailey's coming off a knee n was already sooking before he did the knee that he wasn't getting midfield time, also another who'll be on big shekels that the Woofers might quietly be happy to get off the books. Gives them cap space n removes an annoyingly uncomfortable pimple off the team arse.

Max Holmes takes out the Cats B&F at 22 years of age.
We barely have an established player in the team under 25.
It’s an interesting approach Geelong have taken when it comes to drafting. It’s like they are only interested in quality players.

They did need a win in the draft after using their previous 1st picks on Cooper Stephens, Jhye Clarke, Lachlan Fogerty, Brandon Parfitt and Nakia Cockatoo.

Cats are looking at picking up his contract. If they do that they believe draft cost for Oliver will be minimal

And on the flip side of that Oliver becomes their highest paid player.

How will all the current players react to that. You know the ones that we are told took unders just so they could play at Geelong

Has someone at the Cattery pushed, or about to push, the self destruct button???

He wants a farm like the other cats players. Clary had a visit with Jizza and Stanley? On their farms.
*smile* “farmer” Clarry. They give him an acre of grass somewhere, with a poker machine in the shed. He’ll be happy.

The Age and Herald Sun websites , at the Demons B&F last night, interim President Brad Green stated the Demons are holding Clary to his contract.

Not sure I would believe a word that comes out of the mouth of any Melbourne official. Eg. Pert: “we have the best culture I have seen in 40 years in the AFL”……Goodwin “Clarrie is a much loved player and part of our future”…..at the same time as they are putting feelers out to see if anyone interested. That was last year.

This year. Green: “we are holding him to his contract”…..and that is after Pert has supposedly rung Geelong to see if they are interested and not supposedly, but actually, Oliver has met with Geelong earlier this week, including a visit to Stanley’s farm to chat with some of the players.
